    • Never expanded, couldn't return
This wad the worst purchase I've ever made on amazon. Once recived we unboxed, and the matress never expanded a week , 2 weeks went by, we tried evetything the internet suggested, over a month still no change in the matress. We tried contacting amazon and manufacturer, no help. So we set up to return it on amazon before the last return date, the return shipper was UPS who refused to pick it up with thier truck saying it was too big. so we brought it to the UPS store who refused it saying it was too big to return! we drove 45 min into town only to be turned away. We were furious. So we had to sell it online and only got half what we paid for it. I'll never order a boxed matress again online. We ended up going to a real store and buying a matress so we could at least return it if it was faulty. ... show more

I’ve owned this mattress for over a year and must say this has been the best mattress purchase I’ve ever made. I’ve been tracking my sleep cycles via Apple Watch and since purchasing this mattress, my sleep has improved drastically.     • What a buy! A truly firm foam mattress that wasn't $1000 or more!
UPDATE: I decided to buy the 12", extra firm. Yikes. It was like sleeping on the floor after it expanded. I love a firm mattress, but the 12" version is ridiculous. The 8" is still pretty comfortable, though it has worn out a bit. The 12" is scarcely 6 months old. It's already sagging in the middle. I think a queen size would allow you to rotate/break in evenly. Unfortunately, a Full is too narrow to avoid saggy center syndrome. Stick with the 8", and only when on sale. ***Old review for the 8" *** The ONLY reason I'm going 4 star vs 5 is, I wish I'd bought the 12" vs. 8". 12 would be even better for my needs, as 8 is a bit low on the bed frame. If you're on a budget and need a firm mattress, this cannot be beat. It replaced a Serta that was decent, but a bit softer than I liked. I scored this bed for like $159 shipped. That was a steal if it lasts even 2 years! This is "soft, yet firm," meaning it is NOT squishy like you'd think, unless you kneel or stand on it. When lying on my back it contours wonderfully; same with my side or front. It is very supportive, and it does not take forever to rebound when you turn on your side or flip over, move, etc. It is far more supportive than the 8" "premium" bed in a box I got at Sams Club. (Roll over on the Sam's Club mattress, and your body wants to sag back in the direction you rolled from.) This is actually a very good mattress for stomach sleep and more importanly, for side sleep - my main position. I have yet to find an uncomfortable position. ONE WORD OF ADVICE: When they say 72hrs to fully expand, it means IT TAKES 72 hours to fully expand. Do NOT try to use 1st night, or you'll inhibit the expansion! I waited 48, figred it was enough, and it was like a sponge in places and a rock in others. So I put off using it for another day or so. I was amaed at the difference that made. So amazed, I'm replacing the Sam's mattress in my camper with this 8" full, and ordering the 12" for our spare room. I am glad I waited for it to fully expand before use/reviewing. I think the bad reviews are from people who needed a mattress immediately, and decided to ignore the 72 hr waiting instructions. My box stated a mfg. date of early 2021, so I think the people saying theirs were "in a box too long" are full of it. My hunch is, they expected to use it on day one. ... show more

I bought this mattress as a temporary stop gap to get me through a big move that included a short-term rental between my houses. My normal bed is a queen sized Sleep Number, and it’s great but too much effort to set up temporarily. This $200 twin mattress has been incredibly comfortable and has not caused any back pain or pinched nerve flair-ups. Highly recommend for all ages, not just kids. ... show more
