This is an excellent exercise matt. It is stitched very well. It is made of a rigid material (I believe it's vinyl?). You can move this matt around quite easily as it is so light in weight. Once you unfold it, it lays perfectly flat, with no gaps because it's stiff enough. The inside material of this matt is quite firm, it doesn't give in to your body weight like some sort of soft foam. You'd really have to dig in hard with your elbows or knees before you see any dents, and if you do make dents they'll reform back to the original flat shape after a few minutes....very nice. 🤗 The handles are sewn together with great precision...like a custom hand-woven basket. :) Of course, you can fold this matt and store it away in the tightest area of your home. Excellent, extremely reliable purchase at an affordable price.

I recently purchased the BalanceFrom Three Fold Folding Exercise Mat, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. One of the standout features of this mat is its impressive thickness, which provides a comfort level that I haven't experienced with other exercise mats. Whether I'm doing yoga or strength training, the plush cushioning supports me perfectly. Interestingly, my cat has taken a liking to this mat and has a tendency to scratch it. I was initially worried, but surprisingly, the mat has held up quite well despite these feline attentions! It seems the material is quite robust, something that's not always the case with more expensive mats. My wood floor was a killer on my knees during floor work, even with an area rug, and I needed to find an exercise mat with sufficient cushioning. I had a previous roll up mat that was very thin and disintegrated leaving crumbs all over the floor. This is a nice looking mat, thick enough to support my aching joints. It’s comfortable to work out on and firm enough so that it doesn’t leave indentations when you’re done. I ordered the black mat, and it folds up nicely and sits inconspicuously in a corner of the family room. The only downside is that I now have no excuse for not exercising!
