My old leather recliner of over 10 years finally went and had to replace it. I didnt want to break the bank and spend thousands for a new one right now since I’m kind of transient and not sure where I’ll be living in a few years. This recliner is better than expected for the price of roughly $500. Soft, comfortable, yet stiff in a good way. Wish there was more panning on the arms when it’s reclined and not just exposed hard sides but still, for the money you cant go wrong. I lucked out with the color, its not really black, it’s more of a dark black with a green tint but it matched great w my room. Was shocked how easy it was to get a big recliner delivered by amazon. I've had this recliner for 2 weeks and absolutely love it. I believe it's worth the price. I've been wanting a recliner for a while but didn't want to spend a lot because I have a lot of little kids and I don't want it destroyed in a month. This recliner checked all the boxes for me. I wanted a recliner that's inexpensive, comfy, and easy to clean. The color is pewter but it looks a bit more black to me which is perfect because it won't get dirty with little kids. My kids and I love this recliner. I can sit in it for a long time and still be comfortable. I can lay far back and it doesn't hit the wall. The package came without damage and the shipping company (CEVA logistics) delivered it early in the morning and handled my package with care. I chose to have the package delivered on my front porch and I was able to get the it inside, unboxed, and assembled without needing my husband's help. Update 6 months later- Item has broke. Not happy person at this time. Manufacture ASHLEY Furniture. Customer service is very bad. Transfer 2 times. Than left on hold for 50mins with no response. Finally disconnected.😡 All I’m trying to do is get a warranty on the item. Good luck to anyone that’s buys this thing. I hope it last longer than it did for me. After receiving the item. Very easy to assemble item. The material was ok. Was hoping for more comfortable in chair. Foot rest area a little sharp on edges with wood not to comfortable on feet rest. Ok item ... show more

This a very comfortable chair!! I’m 6’ and my feet hang off the end (like every other chair I’ve tried) but it’s comfortable with the padding. I read some other reviews about not being able to sit upright with the foot rest up, but I easily can and it’s my preferred way to get comfy. I was pleasantly surprised that the foot rest is easy to close with a little leg pressure unlike other chairs I’ve tried. I did notice that most of the chair is made out of particle board, which is better than compressed (MDF) wood, but not as good as plywood. My ‘hope’ is it will last a long time. Additionally, the faux leather is more of a fabric and not waterproof like other ‘faux’ leather chairs I’ve seen, but it is very comfortable to the skin. I'm 6 foot, when I sit in this chair and lean my head back, I end up looking at the ceiling. The chair appears to be made for short people. The seat isn't all that wide either, so if ''baby got back'' .... this aint the chair for you. Aside from those two items, the chair is mostly comfortable.
