As a Vine Voice we are asked to submit honest reviews, so I have given much thought to my review of this tote. Ordered in Wing+Bloom design, it is very pretty. With a white background, being machine washable is great. Has 2 inside pockets, one zippered and one outside, as I believe a tote should. Ties sewn inside help close the opening is also a nice touch. It is a quilted look but not actually a heavy quilted fabric. With all that being said I feel the MSRP reflects the “Vera Bradley” name. There are many lovely totes available that will get the job done for a fraction of this price.

I haven't gotten a Vera Bradley bag in ages, but I'm aware that the brand is making its comeback, which is great. I snatched the Original Tote in the pattern Wing + Bloom, which is a butterfly pattern with a gorgeous violet/purple interior pattern. In pictures, the bag appears to be white, but the actual base color is a very soft dove gray/silver. You can stuff a ton into this tote. I used it as my bag for a medical procedure and it worked beautifully. I love the soft straps, which are the perfect shoulder tote length, and the simple button closure. The interior pockets came in handy for storing smaller items and the one exterior pocket was a nice touch for my phone. An iPhone 15 pro max will easily fit in the pocket. The only thing I'm unsure about is the two strings inside of the tote. In pictures, they're supposed to be used to cinch the bag, making it smaller and more like a handbag. However, I'm not sure how that would work, practically, as the knot would get in the way of getting items in and out of the bag. It's a nice thought (design-wise) and they're not really actively impacting the use of the bag when left loose, so I'm not deducting any stars for that. It's a nice option, should I need it. Stitching is typical Vera Bradley quality - very good and even. The bag feels to be of really good quality and the fabric is standard for VB. Overall, this is a great bag and I love the pattern!

I was excited to receive this beautiful Vera Bradley tote, as I had been eyeing some Vera bags at a high-end retail shop. You can't beat the quality of a Vera bag. The stitching and other details are impeccable. The fabric is gorgeous. I took the bag to a book sale at my local library. I was amazed at how many books the bag held, and I received several compliments on it! The two interior slip pockets and large zipper pocket and large exterior slip pocket are thoughtful design elements. I have not used the cinch ties yet, but it is nice to have that option for more security and to change the shape of the bag. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the bag doesn't stand up on its own, but that is to be expected for an all-fabric bag. I look forward to using this as my overnight bag on my next little getaway!

This tote is a good size for carrying multiple items. It is very lightweight, not bulky. Has zippered pockets inside. I like how the quilting is a smaller pattern- it doesn't read as diaper bag or old lady. This is a bag I might take out with me for casual things - shopping, public market, festivals, etc. It would work well for air travel too. It's a very simple, casual bag with a touch of elegance.

This is my first Vera Bradley bag. I finally gave in and ordered one because I love the pattern on this so much. The dark background really makes the flowers pop, and there are bees! I love a bit of fauna in my flora.

This is a nice quilted tote that weighs almost nothing and is comfortable to carry. It is unstructured; there is no rigid base like the Vera Bradley totes of the early 2000s had. It will stand on its own depending on how it is loaded. There is one exterior open pocket deep enough for a phone, two interior slip pockets, and a large interior zippered pocket, that is unfortunately just a tad too small to fit my Kindle Scribe. The bag has a button and loop closure, and there are strings on the interior side corners that can be tied together to give this tote bag a smaller footprint (see my photos; I am 5'7 and weigh 170 pounds for size reference). The "Koi Orange" is a bright, vivid orange, with a blue, orange, and green floral lining (I love it for spicing up my mostly neutral wardrobe of black and navy). The fabric is a soft but durable feeling quilted cotton. Overall, this tote looks and feels like great quality. I know it will see a lot of use, and I really like it.
