    • Awful
First of all, it is listed as a sleeper sofa, which it was not. The sofa I received had a hollow bottom. Second, it was scuffed. And lastly, the quality is horrific. You sit on the end of the sofa and you sink in 10 inches, and the opposite end of the cushion pops up (no, I am not overweight). The whole experience was a nightmare. Delivered, I needed to assist with getting it into the first floor slider, and then was told the delivery crew was not allowed to drill the screws in that are required to install the “legs”, (hollow pieces of plastic), so the sofa was left in my home on its back, with no legs. Certainly not the delivery experience advertised. Furthermore, when I realized it was not what I ordered (what was advertised), and was damaged, I spent over an hour and a half with Amazon, FIVE different agents, to find out it would be picked up IN A WEEK! I have a five year old and an unstable sofa sitting on its back! When I told them that was not acceptable, I was offered a $30 credit toward a future purchase, but it was not able to be picked up sooner. 6 hours later, I received the pick up notification, clicked on the “reschedule appointment”, and was able to reschedule a few days earlier. This whole experience has been an absolutely stressful disaster, not to mention Amazon didn’t even give me the ridiculous $30 credit offered. Do yourself a favor, buy a different sofa locally and avoid the headache! Amazon is great for the little stuff, clearly not ready for this. I opened my Amazon account in 1999, and have been a faithful customer since, and was close to closing my account for the first time in 24 years after this. ... show more

I purchased the pull out option of this sofa. After almost 6 months, the mattress had mildew/mold underneath. I do not have a particularly humid house. This is due to rubber on the pull out mattress frame, under the mattress. I tried to resolve this through customer service of both the manufacturer and Amazon, with no resolution. Ashley furniture states a manufacturer warranty of 3 years on sleeper mattresses, but will not honor this. Amazon will not do anything beyond the quick return window. After throwing away the mattress and cleaning the frame, the couch now sinks in when sitting, unless a new mattress is purchased, which will likely have the same issues.
