We ordered two of these chairs, nervously, I might add, because if they didn't work out, it would be a nightmare to return them, as well as a big disappointment. For a while now I had planned to change things up and incorporate some swivel chairs into this rather long but narrow room: 23' x 12'2". We've lived here a long time and I'd never been really pleased with the various ways we'd arranged the furnishings - furnishings that I'd picked out myself, and changed out piece by piece, from time to time, with input from the Mr. My confidence level wasn't terribly high. I blamed it on the room. Once I finally landed on the swivel club chairs idea it became a matter of finding the right ones that would establish their footprint in the same room with a full size (kind of imposing) sofa and a couple of good sized leather recliners - in the room that would have benefitted considerably with about two more feet in width. I don't know how long I've been looking for the "right" swivel chairs that would "adapt" from conversation circle to an about-face for big screen tv viewing, but this choice turned out to be the BINGO. Did I mention that we have a square glass-top cocktail table in the center of all this paraphernalia? Did I mention it's not a miniature? It worked - or so I thought - at the time of acquisition. So moving right along... Am delighted to report that the Ashley Almanza chairs: 1) arrived in excellent condition, 2) are beautiful in appearance, 3) are comfortable to sit, glide, and swivel / rotate 360 degrees smoothly, 4) feel solid and durable, 5) are a comfortable size for everyone in the family - even our big adult sons, and 6) are accurately represented in the Amazon illustration and description. This is one case where what you see is precisely what you get. For those wondering about the color, the fabric field is the color of French Vanilla ice cream, light but without yellow-ish tones. It is not grey. The grey chair is the Searcy model. Someone above posted a good review of the very similar Searcy chair, which is pale grey. This is the Almanza chair. The shade of the Almanza is not deep enough to classify as taupe. The pin-striping, when you look closely, is red, but leans coppery red. In other words, if you love real (primary color) red or blue, this fabric will work and blend beautifully with your decor. If you favor earth tones, it will work equally well with browns, greens, autumn leaf shades, and golds. For those like me who love deep blues, it merges beautifully. We have a pair of deep blue area rugs with gold, ivory, and amber/coppery tones, in a large repeating pattern. There are also some accessories and wall art with various blue shades throughout the room. The red striping in this color environment looks coppery and I couldn't be happier with the result. I did try some red accessories from another room with the chairs, just to see how it works. A match made in heaven. Permit me to add that the delivery crew of two were outstanding. Amazon had texted a couple of times in advance to confirm day, date, and delivery time window. The delivery team phoned approximately a half hour before arrival to confirm we were at home and ready for them. The chairs were paper wrapped; not boxed. The team handled the items with superior care. *I want them to get credit for a job very well done, so I hope some live Amazon employee catches this. There was no assembly required. I want to add that this delivery was superior to deliveries we've had direct from local large appliance and furniture retailers. This Ashley / Almanza chair has apparently sold out again. I don't recall if this is the second or third time since I started looking at it as the potential solution to my spatial relations problem. When it sold out on Amazon the first time I contacted our local Ashley Furniture retailer. Not only did they not have the chair in stock - but "they would order it for me", AND they were unfamiliar with this apparently very popular piece. Go figure. So I decided to wait a while; then try Amazon again. And here we are with purchase and delivery successfully completed. I work at supporting our local retailers, but they also need to work at keeping "the shelves" stocked. Yes, this is in reference to the unpleasant changes we're all experiencing since the first lockdown got underway. If anyone censors these remarks, I'm calling on Elon to build his own version of Amazon. So if you are interested in this currently sold out chair, check back again soon. While I cannot predict if my chairs will well endure the test of time - and the visits of five school age grandchildren - the chairs seem to be very good quality, as well as functional, marvelously comfortable, and truly beautiful. My "living room" - where the big screen lives - an accommodation made to, and for, the Mr. - is a much more comfortable, inviting setting, and has a much happier Momma in the house.

I had never purchased furniture online so I was a little nervous but there was no need to worry. I was so pleased at the way the chair was fully wrapped and protected during shipping. The swivel was tied in two places to keep from moving during shipment but that was all the set-up needed. The color was very nice and I love that it swivels and glides. It seems to be built quite sturdy which is another plus. I've had the chair for a month and have no complaints. Great chair, great price!

I absolutely love the chair. It is a beautiful creamish beige color. The fabric is very soft. It's firm right now, but still comfortable. I'm sure it will eventually soften up a bit. It's a nice size too, not too big or small. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5, is because the shipping was absolutely horrible. Amazon shipped it through RXO, which I've never heard of. They changed the delivery date several times. They give you a delivery window time from 6 AM to 9 PM, which is ridiculous. We wasted a whole day just waiting on them to show up. Customer service is no help at all, they hardly understand English. When they did show up, their company truck was an Enterprise rental truck. Strange. Amazon you really need to find a better shipping company.

We were looking for something that would swivel chair towards the TV when we wanted to. I'm one of those people that I don't like the TV to be the main focal point of a living room, so I like the couch and chairs to face each other so people can have conversation. We found this one on Amazon and it was going to replace an oversized chair (44 inches wide). This one is much smaller and so after ordering the first one and really liking it, we ordered a second one. (I didn't take a picture of the two together, but here is one of the first one we ordered. Even our cat loves it! Great purchase. Very nice fabric. Soft..comfortable. I've fallen asleep in it twice! It rocks! Literally...it rocks too. Worth purchasing! Great for small spaces.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the chairs for the price! Bought 2 for my coffee bar sitting area and could not be happier with my purchase! Fabric soft cream with a thread of gray/greenish tint. Smooth glide motion. Heavy piece with wood frame.

I was impressed with the material, buying online can be risky. I have beige, red and gold colors in family room. Both solid and prints, this worked very well. Standing across the room one may think they are just beige as you get closer you can see the red. Colors can vary when next to other colors I think the red is versatile. If you can find this chair on another site they show it with salmon colored pillows and a beige couch. The only problem they came wrapped in light weight card board not a box and plastic that does not protect them enough and I do have a 1/2 inch split in the material right on the upper top part which if anything will be damaged thats the area. However love not having to break down boxes! But other than that I think they feel nice and are made fairly well.
