I want to start with sharing, I think the chairs are absolutely beautiful. I have had so many compliments on the chairs, and once together, they appear sturdy. Ordering furniture can be a bear in today's world, but I received these chairs within two days of ordering them. All of this is the good news. However, I had to request new chairs twice, as I found fractures in the wood (leg and seat). I'm not sure if it even would have been a problem, but I didn't want to take a chance. I was able to exchange the chairs, and again, excellent turnaround time. The one complaint I have is, I now have two boxes that need to be taken back to UPS for return. I do not have a local UPS, and work, so this is a huge convenience. Considering I have been patient and understanding about the chair overall, I think the company should make arrangement to have the chairs picked up. I have until August 10th- and have no choice but to make it happen or my card will be charged, but I'm not happy about it. ... show more

Bear in mind that these chairs are made from wood composite. They are also made in Vietnam & that is clearly stated on the back of the chair seat. I bought 2 "Used like New" from Amazon Warehouse, where you take your chances that perhaps the return was not defective. One of the chair seats had a ding & was not "like new" but I am handy with wood filler and stain. I only wanted these two chairs as extras so didn't feel it was worth a return. However, for those who want a perfect set for company and regular use, I would suggest paying a little more & getting better quality chairs. ... show more

I was skeptical ordering furniture sight unseen but these chairs are great. Heavy and attractive. Minor finish problems after 6 months of use. Nothing a marker can’t fix. Great value for the money.
