  • Caution: For Small People. Easy to assemble.Assembly instructions in my comment.
Color: Brown
I'm about 6ft 1 in., 250 lbs. knee to floor 19 in, 18 butt width. I'm 81 with limited mobility. Keep my size in mind when reading comments. The chair is too small for my size. It is very comfortable, though. The lift to standing is problematic for me, as the headrest hits my shoulders and pushes me too far forward before I'm standing. The lift is not quite high enough. Un-boxing. Be very careful cutting the box. It's best to just tear the box open. The steel bottom of the chair rests on the bottom of the box, that is it just on the box flaps, nothing extra. Remove the backrest and set aside. Find the package of parts zip tied to the cross member at bottom of the back. The cord to the lift motor will be tied to the cross member. Leave it for now. Remove the four furniture glides/levelers. Tilt the chair onto it's side, screw in the glides. Very easy, hand tighten only, no tools needed. When you finish with this, completely remove the remainder of the box and plastic wrap. Remove the wrap from the back assembly. The chair base and back should be free of packing.' Lift the backrest by the sides. It's not heavy. Slide the two steel tabs over the mating tabs on the chair bottom. Th backrest does not have to be aligned perfectly to start. The tabs have enough initial looseness so that one side can be started, then the other. Push down until you hear a loud click. Now remove the motor wire from the cross member and route it over the top of the cross member. Important as this keeps the cord from getting under the chair. Open the package of wiring. Lay the two button control aside. You will have two cords and a black box, which is the battery back up. If you have 2 9 volt batteries available, open the battery compartment lid on the side of the black box. Connect the motor cord to one end of the black box. The connections are different so they can't be assembled wrong.. Now take the two button control and open the right side pocket. The round connector will be at the bottom. You will need a flashlight (torch). Look to see where the pins are on the cord and then on the socket (at bottom of pocket). Push aside the strain relief, black plastic tab. Carefully align the pins and push gently to seat. Don't force any thing, Then snap the strain relief over the two tabs on the connector. This keeps the two button control cord from being pulled loose. Assembly is now complete. Position the chair in it's using location. Check to see that your power supply cords are assembled correctly, then plug into an electrical outlet. 110 volt, American style plug. When you install the two 9 volt batteries, be sure the power cord is unplugged. Their will be two green lights. One on the back up box and one on a switch between the battery back-up and motor. Both should be on. If not, push the button on the switch to turn it on. Your chair is now ready for use. The battery back up can be fastened to the cross member with two screws or zip ties. Just wind the power cord loosely around the cross member. L3ave enough length free for the chair-motor operation. The two button control is perfect for elderly people, as sometimes in the presence of a lot of buttons, we forget which does what. It would be good for a child, too. The chair lift is very quiet and operates very smoothly. I highly recommend this chair. Just remember it's for smaller people, adult or child. ... show more

  • Easy return.
Color: Brown
This chair was returned. It looks like it’s made for a child or a very short person. It was returned via Amazon/UPS. Packed up as it came. Just waiting for my refund. The chair is very nice but not at all what I expected.

  • GREAT CHAIR
Color: Brown
This chair was purchased for my 95 year old mom that is probably 5' at best and all of 95 pounds. When we opened it, it looked tiny, and the assembly was easy, and it was great that we could get it up the stairs in two pieces...that are HEAVY. Once put together, we still thought it looks small (in comparison to her size furniture pieces}, however, it is PERFECT for her. She no longer has to stuff pillows behind her to fit properly (std furniture is too deep), so we are very happy with this purchase. The power buttons are a big plus, as she is not strong enough to work a manual foot lift. Thank you for such a perfect product! ... show more

  • Nice lift chair for a short person
Color: Grey
Very well made and tailored fabric, nice neutral color, works well, good support if a bit hard on the seat, attractive. Best for a person perhaps 5ft 4" and below. Otherwise, no neck support and legs hang off almost mid thigh when upright.

  • Perfect for seniors
Color: Brown
I bought the recliner for my mom, she loves it, easy to assemble, and easy-to-use. My mom had an accident last year and we needed a new recliner for her super fast, this is perfect for seniors because is not to big, and the control has a connection to charge the cell phone....

  • Fits a small person perfectly
Color: Brown
When we took this chair out of the box it looked like it was for a child. Keeping that in mind it was purchased for a 4'11" female and it fit her perfectly! It reclines to a very comfortable sleeping position (per the person it was intended for). I also tried it out and at 5'2' it was perfect. If you have neck issues this will not push your head forward as many standard size recliners do for smaller people making it very uncomfortable. Both of us were able to place our feet on the floor in a sitting position, also difficult in standard recliners. The lift mechanism works just as well. We chose the "leather" version. The test will be how well does it wear. Expectedly the "leather" doesn't compare to another recliner I own that was 4 times as much money. All in all this was a good purchase for the person it was intended for. She is about to have open heart surgery and is to sleep in a recliner for 6 weeks post-op. She is very happy and finds it very comfortable enough to do just that. ... show more

  • fits my 86 yr old mom great
Color: Grey
I do not understand why all recliners are designed for 6 ft tall men! my mom has back problems and she is only 5'1" and so with most of the recliners having a seat depth of 21 or 22" her feet wouldn't touch the floor when she scooted back and her knees wouldn't bend because they landed on top of the seat not at the edge of it. She had to put pillows behind her and it wasn't giving her any support. This chair is perfect for shorter people. At 5'5" it is still comfortable for me even if my knees hang over a small amount that doesn't hurt anything. I still have back support and my feet touch the floor. Many people do not understand how the chair really does need to fit the leg length for elderly people. Having to scoot back or forward is hard for them especially if they have back problems or hip problems ... show more
