The seat is fine. Firm and substantial. Where the low price point becomes really obvious is the hollow backing. It's like leaning back on a piece of thin fabric that's been stretched taut, with nothing but air behind it. It can be managed with a throw pillow or two, but the back fabric is bound to wear down with minimal use.

I highly recommend this chair. The assembly was very easy. I did enlist some help for putting the back on. My son-in-law helped me but I'm a 60 yr old woman whose muscles have seen stronger days. The comfort sitting in this chair is amazing. It is low but my son-in-law at 6'4" loved it too. It's sturdy and decorative. You just couldn't ask it to be better. I am so happy I chose it. I read some older reviews about difficulty assembling and things not being level..ie legs were uneven and different bolts weren't marked. Ashley company must have made changes. All bolts are the same size and the needed allen wrench is included. You do have to pay a little attention to where the legs go but 1 and 2 are numbered on the legs and the chair. The rest is self explanatory. I attached all the legs first and tightened them then added the back. Simple.

I ordered this chair to use in staging a house to sell. It looks good and has great color. When I got it, it looked so good against my dark gray wall that I order another one. If it was used regularly, it probably wouldn't hold up very long but for an accent piece that won't be used much, it's perfect.

We ended up returning these because they didn't work in our space and, to my surprise, I didn't have to pay return shipping. They were very cute, I just didn't realize that they were pretty low to the floor and they looked like tiny little kid's furniture next to this massive sofa that is in the room. I would buy them in the future for a different space. They were also really easy to assemble (it took minutes).

for the price, this is a great bargain. just needed an accent chair for the bedroom and didn't want to spend a fortune. by reading the previous reviews we understood it to sit very low to the ground. but the cost was good so we ordered it. it arrived timely and put together fairly easy. it's very lightweight but feels sturdy when sitting in it. the coloring looks like the ad .

Seat is very low to ground....very, very, very low. Way too low . I am around 5' 7". Must be for very extremely short folk. I could not even give it away. A thickly stuffed very large pillow on seat helps a wee bit. But as stated the chair is way too low. I do not recommend anything about it. Again: NOT recommended for even shorter folk. Chair is way too low. Perhaps pre-schoolers would obtain some useage. Worse purchase ever and it is a well known brand.

This chair arrived quicker than expected. The Honnally design material looks exactly like the picture and was very easy to put together. I had previously purchased a love seat and chair of a different pattern that was listed as a jungle green and when I tried to buy another chair that matched that set, I couldn't find one anywhere. I ran across this chair on Amazon and it matches my set perfectly. I am very happy with this purchase.
