dislike that it broke less than 1 month of buying. Reported to Amazon in June and Ashley's sent a e-mail that I could put it back in the box it came in and ship it back or send pictures and get a discount. The box was already trashed and I am 73 yrs old and have had 2 back surgeries. It took 2 big guys to bring it in and they wanted me to re-box and return myself. I sent a reply that I could not do that because of my age and back. They gave no reply. Then I got Covid and was in lock down for 5 weeks before the fever stopped and am still having after effects. My family came to town yesterday and took these pictures but Amazon says my complaint has expired and they can not help and Ashley's will not respond. Also the zipper on the bottom of the chair is broken and ripped open. ... show more

To start with the delivery service by Amazon was late. My appointment was from 6 am to 9 am. They were to call 1/2 hour before they arrive, called at 8:45 am. got here at 9:10 am. Once they got here, they told me they were going to take the box to the nearest door. I told them I had room of choice service which I paid $19.95 extra for. I had to prove it with my paperwork which they made a copy of. They than brought to my room of choice and they said they do not setup or unpack the recliner. I personally had to unpack the recliner so I could inspect it. I also had to assemble it my self which I did not expect. While assembling, I notice it was made with course particle board not plywood or regular wood. Corner blocks where the faux leather is attached were cracked from the nails. I needed to attach all the electrical connections but no ties were supplied, wire just hang out loose. The delivery service also did not get rid of the box. Other then the above, the recliner looks good and is slightly stiffer than what I experienced when trying it in stores but I know the recliner padding will get softer over time. The recliner I was replacing is 20 years old, and the covering was wearing out. Final item the recliner is not made in USA but Vietnam. Ashley told me it was made here USA but the box said differently. ... show more

We found this couch at an Ashley furniture store in Memphis and loved in the showroom, but found it much cheaper here. We double checked the item numbers and made sure we were ordering the exact same item. When it arrived, it looked good, but it was very uncomfortable. It didn't sit anything like the one in the store. We went back to the same Ashley furniture store to see if we were crazy. We sat on the couch, checked the item numbers again and nope, we weren't crazy. It had a completely different feel. We spoke to the store manager about it and he had no explanation for the difference. We ended up returning the couch, which was not easy. We live on the 10th floor in a building in downtown Memphis. I will say that Amazon was great about agreeing to return the couch and the delivery/pick up drivers did a nice job. ... show more

Very high-quality couch. Works great. Be aware that amazon claiming they will deliver inside your house or apartment is a lie. They drop it off at first door no matter the option you select. The sofa arrived with two defective motors, which controlled the footrest and headrest reclining features on one end. They were very noisy, pointing to potential failure in the near future. The ones on the other end of the sofa were quiet. Ashley Furniture has shipped replacement motors, but Amazon told me installation costs would be mine to pay, even though the sofa arrived defective. I took a big risk by ordering this couch online, but I am glad I did. I sat on this couch model at two different local furniture stores but cringed at the price tags- $800 and $900, plus a hefty delivery fee! When I found it on Amazon for a few hundred dollars cheaper and with free delivery, I had to go for it. It was easy and simple to put together too. My entire family and two dogs fit on this couch.
