I wanted to upgrade my chairs that I’ve had since my husband and I were married 21 years ago because well, it’s been 21 years and they are literally falling apart. These are PERFECT! Sturdy, easy to put together. I got the white with padded seat and man are they comfy. The are slightly reclined back so perfect for long nights are card playing! They are wood but the finish feels a little like some sort of plasticy sealant was used and it will be easy to clean. Looking forward to years of use. A great deal too! I saw these same chairs for sale in a furniture store for 92$ EACH! We bought 12 chairs so we’d have enough for our family get togethers! Very happy with my purchase! UPDATE: A year later these chairs remain in good condition and hold up well to daily use. Easy to clean both fabric and wood. ONE THING TO NOTE: The seat doesn’t have support under the cushion so they’ve began to “sink” when you sit on them. We will be placing thin support boards under the seats (which are removable from frame, and could even be recovered if you need to later down the road). I still consider these an excellent purchase and I know with the addition of support these sturdy and beautiful chairs will last for years and years. UPDATE 2023: So life happened and we never got the seat supports placed…and while we will eventually be installing them-these chairs are still holding up just fine. Easy to clean. Very sturdy and so easy to assemble. The instructions do have 1 error as they picture the 2 bolts (2) to attach seat base as D. They are E. Other than that, which was easy to figure out, they were perfect! Match the brown table i ordered. The cloth color on seat bottom will match a variety of colors. I highly recommend. ... show more

The original table came with four chairs and I didn't think anything of it because that's all I had room for at the time. After I moved, someone tried to split up the chairs and put them on the end. I realized that I could use two more chairs for a total of six. I didn't realize what I was missing until the new chairs arrived. Easy to put together. Splinters / rough edges found on a couple of the chairs, enough to cause bleeding. 4 of 6 chairs assembled fine, 2 have a slight wobble noticed when pushing chair in. We got2 sets of these to go with our new table. they were simple to assemble. one of the 4 chairs weren't level, but taking it apart & reassembling it fixed the problem (something mu have not been sitting right). They are reasonably comfortable for kitchen chairs, and are very sturdy once assembled.

Update: I received a new set of legs for the chairs and they are the same length as the others. They must have a big quantity that were made wrong. So disappointed I’m not sure what I could do to make up a half an inch of length. So now I have four sets of chairs legs that are made incorrectly. I reached back out to Ashley through Amazon and they gave me $40 credit. I really would just like the correct size chair legs! Wow Ashley Furniture I thought you were better than this, I bought the Bolanburg dining room table and bench directly from Ashley store, had no issues with them, but I ordered a set of chairs from the Ashley store on Amazon and a set of chairs directly from the Ashley website. All four chairs had different leg lengths, so disappointing after putting them all together and spent over $320 just for the chairs and they wobble. Two of them were so bad it was off half an inch. The other chairs were off about a quarter of an inch. Luckily I had those little furniture chair pads you can put underneath them and that fixed the problem for those two but the others, I called them directly and they are sending me four new legs! And they all better be the same length or I’m sending this garbage back. Easy to assemble and they look good that’s about it. Clearly they have a manufacturing problem and quality assurance is not doing a good job catching these defective pieces. Very disappointed to say the least. ... show more
