They were beautiful. Great quality but had to return them because the shade was too big for the area needed. (Behind a couch) The shade is a good size for the lamp though. I hated having to return them.

I received this lamp yesterday. It was easy to assemble and overall the look is as expected. However, I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the shade really hinders the light output. I have a bright LED bulb in this lamp and the light is quite dim due to the shade. The light escapes below and above the shade but none through it so overall it doesn't provide much light. I do like the soft "glow-like" appearance it provides but my living room has no ceiling fixtures and the hope was this lamp would be the main source of light in that room. I'm going to look for a replacement shade that lets more light through because I really like the post. If you have other sources of light in your room then this lamp would be perfect ... show more

light is so fragile it cracked we I was screwing it together and I was very delicate with it. I had to glue it back together, made out of plastic or plaster.
