The media could not be loaded. I had been searching for a replacement for the insert that came with my large TV stand for more than a year. Mine stopped working, well the flame part anyway. Prices ranged from $400 and up! That is mire than I paid for the piece at a consignment shop so I was not about to do that! Any who... found the insert but ordered the wrong size. After an easy return/exchange I was in business in less than a week! This insert is better than the one it replaced. The flame is more realistic, logs are nicer and the faux brick goes all the way around. The price is great!! Just be sure you measure the insert you want replace. You might have to take it out to do so but it will be worth it to insure you order the correct size. ... show more

We ordered this unit after an on-line search to fit our existing LP heater cabinet. This one was the closest size, had good reviews and was a good price. It only required a little trim work that I had expected for a perfect fit. The first unit was delivered with a 1" dent on the edge and piece broken from one of the logs. Returning it was fast, easy and at no charge. I received another unit that was delivered fast but also with a similar small dent on the visible edge that I was able to straighten and touch up. The flame only mode looks realistic and runs silent. The heater mode puts out reasonable heat for our 12' x 14' den but the fan does make some noise. The remote also makes a fairly loud "beep" when the buttons are pressed which annoys my wife. Otherwise it works fine and I am satisfied with the purchase. ... show more

This was easy to install. It looks great and puts out a nice amount of heat. My only complaint is every time you push a button on the remote it beeps quite loudly.

We got this to add to a TV stand from Ashley. It fit well, although the instructions on the TV stand were incorrect. I used to use the brackets that came with the fireplace instead of the bracket that came with the stand. Otherwise, it seems to work well. It looks nice and does heat. The remote is sort of junky, as are most remotes these days. But it works. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am very happy with this fireplace insert! I had an Ashley fuel gel fireplace and just got tired of spending the money on the fuel gel cans. Decided to do some research on Amazon and came across this item. I looked at the dimensions on the old firebox from when I purchased the fireplace a few years back and this was an exact match! Shipping was prime, had it in 2 days. Unscrewed the old firebox and popped this one right in, plugged it in and voila! Its surprisingly realistic looking with quite a few options on the remote, including timer, heat intensity and flame adjustment. It gives off great heat or use as no heat. It makes no noise at all.
