This mattress is great! I replaced a $3000 Temperpedic with it & was nervous but wanted a softer mattress because I’m a side sleeper & had to turn over multiple times due to a sore shoulder. This mattress is very soft & perfect for a side sleeper. I maybe only turn once a night now & my shoulder doesn’t really get sore at all. It is NOT a firm mattress! It's soft like a big piece of thick foam with not much support. AND absolutely NO SUPPORT on the edges. It sinks in so bad that when I sat on the edge, I slid off! If you push down on it, the sides bulge. May be good for a child's bed but definitely not for two full-size adults. Do yourself a favor and go to a real mattress store and buy a decent one. This is the second Elite Chime mattress I've purchased. The first has been used by my 6'2", 359lbs son for the last 4 years and is like new. When it was time to replace our mattress, my husband was leary going with a memory foam mattress after a bad experience with Temperpedic mattress in the past however the price was impossible to beat. We are both pleased with the comfort and support of this mattress! My husband's snoring has significantly decreased and I wake up with no lower back pain! Shipping was much quicker then expected (less then 3 days and we live in the middle of nowhere) There was no smell when we removed the plastic, there nearly no motion transfer, and it expanded to its advertised depth almost immediately (we slept on it after about 6 hours of expansion). ... show more

Nice and thick but more super plush than medium plush, I wanted more of a medium firm chime mattress by Ashley but it was not available so I opted for this. It is great if you don’t really want any firmness at all but I wouldn’t recommend if you are wanting any firmness and are grown. I got these for my younger children and it doesn’t do bad either them but when my 16 year old who is 6’2 150 lbs tried to get on it, it did sink a bit. ... show more
