    • Works great except for the lower back pain.
These bars are very good, light weight and sized correctly. I converted a 25 yr old mountain bike to a cruiser with an upright seating position. All the brake and shifter cables will need to be lengthened. I enjoyed the bike while testing it out for short easy rides. However, when I tackled some very steep hills yesterday the seating position gave me terrible lower back pain. I do have other bikes for long and hilly rides and will save this converted mountain bike for short easy rides from now on. ... show more

I like this handlebar. My Shimano brake levers mounted right up, and it fit my handlebar grips perfectly. The handlebars that came with my REI Coop DRT 4.0 were too flat and low for Florida. This caused my wrists and back to hurt, especially when I rode with a backpack. I ordered the 90mm rise and used a pipe cutter to shorten each side to 700mm. These new bars are much more comfortable. I deleted a star for thin paint. The paint on the bars can be easily scratched so make sure to handle with care while installing. ... show more

Wanted to try 50mm rise but didn’t want to drop big coins on a Deity or One Up components until I see how 50mm riser would feel on the cockpit. It did its soul purpose but I wouldn’t use these if your a serious mountain biker that rides trails hard.
