I was looking for a replacement mattress for my grandsons full size bed. I was visiting for a month and his skinny foam mattress that came with the bed was awful!!! I researched everywhere for a good decent mattress, but not too pricey either. I found this on Ashley Furniture's website, and loved all the reviews, so decided to try it. When I went to complete the purchase, delivery would have been 2 weeks later. There was no point! I decided to see what Amazon had and just by chance put this mattress in the search bar. Same price!!!! Not only that, it was available within 3 days, with Prime FREE delivery, which I would have had to pay for with Ashley Furniture. I chose 4 days as we had plans on that 3rd day. Not only did it come when requested, I was offered free setup and removal of the old mattress at time of purchase! But I was skeptical, no way were they going to set up, they'd drop the box and say thank you ma'am! I was BLOWN AWAY - they arrived and asked `where do you want this ma'am?' They took it upstairs to the bedroom I showed them. Removed the old mattress, unpackaged the new one and it started expanding. They took all the trash and the box, and the old mattress with them. Yay!!! I was happy as a clam. Within minutes you could test out the bed, but we let it expand for 24 hours just to be safe, and because I wanted it to be at its greatest potential. One of the reasons I picked this mattress is I hate those newfangled ones that are all foam! You seem to sink into them, hard to turn, and just downright uncomfortable. This mattress reminded me of my beauty rest. It has separate coils for support, then the foam, pillow top. I don't like firm mattresses, and not super soft, I picked this plush one, its a medium firmness with just enough plush softness to feel comfortable and with some give for a woman's hips as a side sleeper and stomach sleeper. I'm home now in my own bed, but my grandson loves his new mattress! His room is always used for guests too, and my oldest grandson and his girlfriend slept on it and told me it was great!!!! Much better than the old crappy foam. I'm sure I'll get more compliments on it as my daughter has more visitors. Especially will be happy when I visit again knowing I'll get a good nights sleep going forward. My granddaughters now want new beds, same as this one! I've also decided to get one of these for our 5th wheel as it only has a skinny foam mattress. Can't wait to order and then try it out! This is a great mattress, and as I said, one you'll get at Ashley Furniture Store, but won't take as long or cost you delivery fees. ... show more

    • Love Love Love! Did I Mention I Love It!

After lots of research (3 months) I decided on this bed. I wanted something soft but supportive. I decided a hybrid was the best option for us. I stumbled across this originally on the Ashley website. They had it listed at $599 on sale at $249 for the 12 inch queen. This price made me ecstatic because I was planning on spending A LOT more. I budgeted $700 for a new mattress. I started looking at reveiws. Most were great, very few were not. I decided to check here on Amazon to see if prime was an option. It wasn't but it was cheaper and still offered free delivery. Ashley site said about 3 weeks to receive. I took a leap of faith and order here on Aug 31 (a friday) and was guaranteed delivery by the sept 14th. That Monday it shipped originally it was set to arrive Sept 7th but got delayed due to natural disaster (assuming California fires since it shipped from there and I am in Washington) and arrived Monday Sept 10th. This made me super happy! Be warned it is SUPER heavy like 100 lbs. I did move it and set it up myself because I am stubborn but you really should use two people. It was a huge struggle for me but I was determined to set up before the husband came home. Once opened it expanded immediately. The topper was fully expanded by bedtime 3 hours later. There was a strong chemical smell (normal for the memory foam) right when you unwrap it but was gone in a few minutes. OH MY once I laid down I was in heaven! The few reveiws saying this is hard as concrete are completely INSANE! It is very supportive but so plush and soft at the same time. Like sleeping on a marshmallow. Even my husband who doesn't care about anything luxury laid down and said it was amazing! (He snored all night long lol) It was the BEST night sleep ever. I am waking up with ZERO hip or shoulder pains. My arms arent going to sleep overnight. I dont need caffeine in the morning. Just like that this mattress has improve my life 1000%. My only complaint I don't want to get up in the morning because it is SOOOOOOOO comfy. We are buying 2 more for our kids ASAP. I am sure those super expensive $4000 are possibly better. But if you are like me and had a budget this is your mattress! Bonus I had money left for new bedding and pillows. Verdict I recommend this bed 1000 times over! ... show more
