Description

Sigma Engineered Solutions weatherproof one-gang junction box provides a place for conduit, receptacle or switch that is single-wired. The rugged, die-cast construction prevents moisture penetration making the box suitable for wet, damp or dry locations. The box is powder coated for corrosion resistance and features a ground screw for secure installation. Boxes include hardware, closure plugs and pre-installed ground screw. Product is UL and CSA listed.

Great value on this one. Sturdy metal construction will protect the outlet, well built, and mounting was straightforward. Knockouts give you flexibility on which side you want to run conduit through. One thing to plan for if you're mounting on stucco like i did, the box doesnt sit flush against the uneven surface. I ran a bead of exterior polyurethane sealant around the perimeter once it was mounted to keep water from working its way behind it. Wall texture issue, not a product issue, but worth knowing before you start. Otherwise, the box itself water resistant as designed. Hard to beat for the price. ... show more

Installed and working fine on my deck, but it is a non-standard size. Works fine, threads into conduit fine, but not easily compatible with conduit "cable clamps".

Great price for a standard wet location electrical box. These are about half the price of the ones at the big box stores, which are exactly the same. Why pay more for the same exact thing? If you don't need one right away, they are a better deal on here.

Very thick durable metal and mounting was easy. I had made a custom lamp and this box had the stability I was looking for. I’m not using it in a water located area but with the seals included, appears it would do well.
