The convex lid can resist water holding. The rubber seals wrap the extension cord tightly preventing the water entering. The 4 double locks are durable and reliable, which can avoid accidental opening. Fix the extension cord tightly avoid shaking. The box is way too big for what I need it for. Item came was too small. Please kindly note that inner dimensions is important for intended purpose. Read it carefully in case it is too large or small for what you need. Inner size is 10.8 x 7.4 x 3.9 inch. External size is 12.5 x 8.5 x 5 inch. Does not fit cable. Please kindly note the diameter of each entry port. It’s important for what cable it fit. 6 entry ports fit up to 12AWG/3C or Φ12mm cord. I thought it included the surge protector. Description showed multiple plugs. Each package only includes 1*outdoor electrical box. The power strip, surge protector, outdoor timer, extension cord and all other device are not included. It leaks. Water breached in. Doesn't seal. Correct usage method is quite important for waterproof performance of this box. Please wrap up the cord with rubber seal and place the box parallel to the ground. Do not submerge the box in water or bury it. Hi all Let me say I have dozens of these now. Because I have over 400 Christmas Inflatables and every year I buy more. My first attempt at these type of covers I bought ones that were bigger but didn’t snap down. So I had to use weights on top. These however I love. So why not 5 stars? Let me explain Please understand I just ordered 13 more as I’m writing this. So they are awesome. Pros: Easy to use The rubber ports are already in I can fit large Belk surge protectors and the smaller longer ones and I also use small square that have usb, 3 prong etc protectors. I have use it with many weird shaped plugs for inflatables. Light weight Truly waterproof Water doesn’t pool on top like others Cons Ok here is why they lose a star. Well really 2 parts of the same reason. As I was buying I just happened to see the QnA and they had the question of Do the Snaps break. And the answer was No, because “insert some reason”. Ok they don’t break…. But they fall off constantly. Just opening the snaps the first time they fall off. Many times they won’t go back on as they are warped or the latch connector is. So most of them only have 2-3 actually snapped. And sometimes I can get them back on, other times I just sorta force snap it but it’s not really on. Does it stop it from working? Nope. Does it keep it waterproof still? Yep. But don’t fib about it. I’ve spent over $1,000 dollars on these and everyone is the same. So they need to work on this. Suggestion: Many of my extension chords will have a T shaped plug every like 3-6 feet. But using a giant box (large) is super costly. If they made one that is 1/3 the size and made it 10 bucks I’d still spend 1,000 but all my inflatables would be covered. At some point I have to turn to plastic wrap lol. I have tried many of these outdoor power cord boxes as we have a few things hooked up long run through our yard. Some of the other ones I have tried have either not been large enough to hold the two power cord ends, or they allow water inside after heavy rains, or they simply disintegrate and crumble in a few months worth of southern sun. This is the best outdoor electrical box option that I have tried and I will buy more of these for sure. I like that there are snap locks on all sides of the box to ensure that it stays dry. THESE ARE GREAT FOR MY OUTDOOR LIGHT PROJECT THAT THE CONTROL BOX AND PLUG CANT BE OUTSIDE IN THE WEATHER. I DID GET THE MEDIUM SIZE FOR MY FIRST PROJECT THE PLUG WAS A BIT SMALLER, I DO HAVE A SMALL EXTENSION CORD IN THIS ONE AS WELL. THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEDIUM AND LARGE. I HAVE A SMALL EXTENSION CORD IN THE BOX WITH THE PLUG AND CONTROL BOX FITS GREAT. PLENTY OF ROOM FOR A FEW OTHER THINGS. ... show more

Larger than expected which was great! I needed it last minute after the one I had turned out to be too small for the string light power bricks and power strip to fit inside. This one has plenty of room. I’ll likely stick a pot overtop to keep it extra dry. Definitely worth the money.
