These are perfect and the IS is AWSOME. For the cost though Sig should have put a little more thought into the lens covers. The eye piece ones fall off easily with no means to retain. And the 50mm front covers are nonexistent.

I really like these. I have had the Fuji and the Cannon, but I think these are the best. They are lighter, and stabilize more quickly. A better choice if you are going to be glassing for long periods of time.

Sharp, fast, clear, bright image! I have a smaller pair of Canon IS binoculars where the stabilizer button has to be located by feel while looking through the eyepieces, and continually pressed to activate. This is a *much* better solution, and having the auto shut off is a plus. Using AA batteries makes carrying spares and changing them easy. My only minor issue: the lens caps are extremely loose and keep falling off. They have a good, solid feel, and are heavier than the Canon, but for my viewing purposes this doesn’t present a problem. Happy I purchased them.

The steady view provided by these stabilization binoculars is amazing, even better than using my admittedly cheap plastic tripod. The convenience of viewing distant objects without a tripod, especially in situations where one can't easily be used, like on my pontoon boat, is much appreciated. The optical clarity is outstanding, with crisp, well-defined edges and vibrant, true-to-life colors (although not as good as my Zeiss HD 15x56). These binoculars truly redefine what it means to see clearly and "effortlessly".
