So I now own 4 of these locks. I have owned one for 11 months and battery life is at 85%, this is the front door to my house. 4 people living here it gets a ton of use, easily battery will last 2 yrs + and that’s regular AA. Functions work great, can program a bunch of codes for each person, temporarily codes, specific to day and time, delete codes etc. The gateway (separately sold) I think is a must if you want or need to control the lock away from home. If you just use the app near the lock (blue tooth) you can do everything. I personally love that I can unlock, lock door, set up codes and delete codes remotely and in different state. This lock also provides you to connect to Alexa with downloading skill for Alexa. I have it program to lock every night at 11pm, alexa will also notify me if no one is home and lock is left open. I use one at a short term rental and has worked flawless for now months. Has key card to enter instead of typing in a code as well..This lock is just awesome and has all the functions anyone could ever need. Few tips: Lock must have no resistance when locking, so you will need to make sure things line up correctly. (This is with any electronic lock motor regardless of brand) When setting up profile it asks for phone number, you must type it in exactly as described with country code, area code etc or you won’t be able to set everything up. Basically buy the lock, works great and longest battery life out of any I have ever owned, has all functions and more anyone could ever need. Best of all is the price ! ... show more

I purchased the deadbolt along with the door handle and Gateway kit. So far I've had zero issues with the deadbolt since installation. To start out with I'm going to address the only negative thing that I have about the deadbolt. And that is simply the fact that I had to modify the plate to make it fit. To explain, the instructions for the door handle were but if you were installing both at the same time to install the door handle on top. I did so and I made it face up. The deadbolt since I have a left in swing door was supposed to have the locking mechanism face upward. However due to clearance issues that was not possible the unit had to face down and because of how everything lined up through the hole in the door it would not work that way. I had to drill two new holes and lengthen the center one in order to make it fit. However once I was done modifying the mounting plate it all slid together the way it needed to and works flawlessly. Both the door handle and the deadbolt look sleek. I've had zero issues with punching in codes or remotely locking and unlocking the deadbolt. It connects up to everything fine and has every feature that they list. I only have good things to say. I would recommend but everybody to buy this and given the choice I would buy it again myself. ... show more

It seems to be working fine. Some of the hardware doesn’t really make sense, but I think it’s just a way to adapt to different doors. Also, the instructions that came with it were not correct and referred you to online and did not make installation easy. However… tech-support was available and very helpful and with two telephone calls I was able to get it working perfectly.. I like his functionality and layout so far if durability pans out it seems like it’s going to be a great choice ... show more

I have multiple of these throughout my home. They are super easy to install and use. I also have the gateway that way even in a foreign country you can unlock the door for someone etc. This brand to me has proven to be high quality and the app is pretty user friendly. I have the deadbolts and the doors knobs and all of them have been great. These are worth a try in my opinion especially for the price. ... show more

Overall I am satisfied with the Sifely products. On initial install I could not get the lock to sequence properly with the lock and the app. I was eventually able to do so. Digital deadbolts can be a challenge to install. There can be very little drag or tension on the bolt. Its took some adjustments to get the lock to operate property. ... show more

It took me TWO to three hours to install. If you have solid metal mesh like door, with pre drilled holes for the deadbolt, it may not fit. Issues: 1. Besides not fitting in and making adjustments, I realized that the mounting plate goes BETWEEN the silicon gasket & the inside locking piece. - very little written instructions 2. The screws that hold onto the front piece were bad quality, it not only got shredded, but it also got stuck on the screws it was suppose to mount to & was not able to sit flush when I put the mounting plate on it, it was really loose. - I ended up unscrewing the whole thing (the female portion of the screws that came attached to it) & I reused some old ones that were long & it fit! 3. The opening/closing mechanism is so LOUD. I have an amazon basics one & that one seems to run smoother & definitely feels higher quality than the Sifely. 4. The screen isn’t super responsive, so you do have to touch around. Things I like: 1. Came with two fob keys, worked (but only tried it for a day) 2. Seems to open the deadbolt faster than the Amazon basics one. 3. Has an app, so you can use Bluetooth to lock/unlock from your room. 4. Fits on metal doors that is slightly convex around the handle area. Update: besides all these points, the machine isn't super sensitive to your touch, so sometimes it does take a few presses for it to notice that you pressed it. When I do remote unlocking/locking it needs to be in a direct line of sight probably ~10-15 feet away. The keys are convenient and respond instantly. Update: 5 months later this lock is not very good. It started locking funny about 3 months in.. meaning occasionally it would do this thing where the lock would not lock all the way (attached video) and would have to be reset. But now it’s been happening every day. I’m not sure what’s going on with it but it’s tedious to deal with to reset from the outside (pressing the lock button) every other time I lock the door. But this only happens from the locking it from the inside through the knob. Locking it from outside with the lock button works fine. ... show more

It's cheaper than other options. With that being said, it isn't bad. It was easy enough to install. I installed it late 2022, but within the last few months, we have had a few problems. The key fobs don't work consistently. The lock will lock from the outside, but doesn't want to lock manually from the inside. Meaning, if I turn the lock mechanism from inside the house with the door closed, it bounces back into the unlocked position. The fix to this is to open the door; lock it from the dial pad; unlock it from inside; shut the door and lock it manually again. Batteries are in good working order with 55% life, but it is annoying to lock, unlock, lock, unlock, and lock to get this thing to function. My wife was able to wiggle the door, and the lock unlocked because it wasn't fully engaged. THIS ONLY HAPPENED ONCE, but the purpose of a lock is to provide safety. Again, not a horrible device for the price, but it could be better. Lock Dial sometimes recognizes that its being touched, but most days, I have to warm it up by running my finger in a circle around the dial a few times before it recognizes im pushing the touch screen. ... show more
