It looks great and seems to be a better quality than I expected. Its not heavy but theres more weight to it than I expected. It doesn't feel cheap at all. I'm less than impressed with the case it comes in. Some people said they have issues getting the umbrella back inside of it but I have no problem there. It goes back inside easily, tooeasily actually. I'm afraid it's going to just fall off and I'll lose it. The umbrella has a loop on the end of the handle which I love, but I wish the case did too. Or had some elastic inside the opening or something to secure it a little better. The handle of the umbrella also seems a little short. I expected the handle to extend a little more but it doesn't. At all. In the picture, my head is actually touching the top of the umbrella and it feels like im holding my hand up really high. Otherwise the size is perfect. The actual umbrella part is even bigger than I expected and should keep me dry no problem, even with my backpack on. It just came today so I haven't gotten to try it out yet. Warning: the 1st time you open it, be prepared because it opened so fast and with so much force that it startled me lol. Its very fast, and I suggest making sure you're not to close to anyone else or anything breakable. Putting it back down wasn't super easy either. It may be because it's brand new, and im hoping it will ease/loosen up with time, but it takes quite a bit of force/pressure to slide the handle back inside when closing it. Just push the button to close the umbrella part, but then you need to push the handle back in, and that took some force to do. More than I expected or think it should take. But overall, so far, I am pleased with my purchase, especially for the price I paid. ... show more

Cute, lightweight, and windproof I absolutely love this umbrella! I got the cheetah pattern and it’s even cuter in person. The print adds a fun touch to something I normally wouldn’t be excited to carry around. It’s also super lightweight, exactly as described, so it’s easy to keep in my bag without adding much weight. I’ve used it on windy days and it has held up really well without feeling flimsy or like it’s going to turn inside out. Overall, really happy with it. Not exactly an expert here since I just received this umbrella and haven't put it to use yet. I like to keep a backup in my car glove box and when I received this I was afraid it would be too long, but it fits just fine. I agree with other comments that I would like the handle to be a little larger and when you press the button and close it, it takes a strong push to get it back down until it clicks. First of all the size of the handle is tiny. Like it’s designed to be held by a child. It’s uncomfortable to hold it so small. Next, if you’re allergic to latex keep in mind, this has a rubberized coating. The next problem is that the strap is Again super teeny tiny for child size people only. I’m a middle-aged American woman and I couldn’t get the thing around my wrist. Let alone around my hand to get around my wrist. Next, the pretty pattern is on the outside of the umbrella not the inside where you’d actually see it like in the picture. It is also extremely difficult to close. I’ve had self closing umbrellas. I’m aware you have to recoil the spring. This is worse. A lot worse. Unusable worse. The fabric also seems pretty cheap and flimsy. I’ve had other travel umbrellas, discount umbrellas you name it and this just seems worse. And for extra fun, the umbrella is very short again, assuming childlike proportions. It’s not that compact the canopy is a standard 42 inch size for one person I guess it’s kind of pretty but overall, I’m returning it because it’s nearly unusable unless you’re looking for the world’s shortest stalked umbrella with a child size handle that’s impossible to close. ... show more
