I bought this to keep my electronics safe from my baby brother. I was concerned he would get into my electronics and drawers relatively quickly with my current stand. My old buffet keeps your valuables out of reach or behind a door. Though it isn't a perfect buffet, it is excellent for storing your stuff, and the top is out of most toddler's reach. Adding a lock to these doors would be easy if necessary, so little ones can't mess with your stuff and, more importantly, get hurt. A piece is designed to drill into the wall so it can't tip. This part uses plastic and screws, so I don't know how well they would hold it, but the cabinet itself is sturdy and stable, so I am not overly concerned. Thanks to the outlet on top, cord management is much more accessible. The instructions suggest not to place heavy objects on the buffet to prevent damage and injury. While putting it together, I stood on the base by itself to test it (I weigh 160-165lb, I wouldn't suggest doing that), so most regular items shouldn't be an issue. The LED lights it came with were finicky when I first put them together, and now they don't work at all. It's not a deal breaker since I didn't buy it for that, but I plan to get them replaced. There are only a few minor complaints for this product: 1. It is easy to break the little pegs when you put it together. It might help with stability, but I've had mine for a few weeks now, and it's still holding fine. 2. It could have an extra leg for stability. It is stable and shouldn't tip unless someone does something stupid. 3. I would prefer a few extra holes in the back to run electronics through the back (though that may differ from their intended purpose) 4. Doors do not close smoothly. The hinges are meant to close by easily with a slight nudge, but nothing is pre-drilled and sometimes stays cracked open so I sometimes have to go back and close them. (not enough to be hazardous) The instructions were also unclear on how the hinges were supposed to attach. Overall, it is a fabulous buffet. I strongly recommend it.

Would be a full 5 stars if the doors were pre drilled and didn’t flop. Looks amazing outside of the slight tilt on the doors

This is really nice cabinet with good quality! We use it to store my daughter’s Legos. She love it! And now she can organize her litter friends very well. It also wasn’t too difficult to put together. We are pleased with it and it work perfectly!
