I love the dimmable switch, it makes it easy to change the vibe. It’s great for reading or just hanging out! These lamps are basic, but look nice on my living room end tables. I like the dimmer function. Easy to get just the right light atmosphere. Easy to put together. I ordered two of these, and my only issue was that the led bulb that came with it for one of them would not light up in the lamp. It wasn't the lamp itself because I tested other bulbs in it and they worked fine. The strange thing is that it wasn't really the bulb either. I tested it in multiple lamps and it lit up in all of them. Just some strange combination of the specific bulb and the specific lamp. I've seen a similar issue when I bought a couple of led bulbs for my two garage ceiling light sockets. One bulb worked, but the other one didn't. Ended up putting an incandescent bulb in the socket that the led didn't work in, and that was fine. The led bulb worked in other lamps, so not specifically the bulb either. Don't know what causes that, just an odd combination sometimes. I ended up just swapping the bulbs from the two lamps and then they both worked. Go figure... ... show more

Love the dimmable feature and that it comes with a lightbulb. Easy to assemble. Looks really great, the base is sturdy and the light is great for bedside table low-light reading, or brighter light needs. I love this lamp! It felt heavy and sturdy. Putting it together was east and quick. I live the dimmable switch on the base.. it’s smooth and you can turn it to your desired light need. Love that feature!! Nice to have built in 2 phone chargers, great lamp!

Quite frankly, I am not sure why one reviewer was turned off by needing to build the lamps. I think it’s a very smart way to make sure the product doesn’t come damaged. Due to this method, the items came very well packaged. The directions were pretty much dummy proof and the lamps were easy to assemble. No more extension cord needed with the usb ports in the base of the lamp. Very convenient and it works. Love the fact that I can turn the lamp off with the knob and I’m not needing to strain myself to turn off the lamp when I’m in bed at night. I had traditional lamps before buying these and I was always concerned I was going to pull a muscle at night trying to reach the knob. And that was with the lamps being as close to the bed as they possibly could. But they were big lamps with big lamp shades so that probably had a lot to do with them being hard to reach. That’s one of the other things that’s great about these lamps is they don’t take up a lot of room. Love the dimmer on them too. I was able to easily adjust the lamp to a comfortable reading level before bed last night. When the lamp is fully on, it’s very bright too! Only thing is I wish the shades were white. It wasn’t clear to me when I ordered them. If you’re wondering about this they are more of a beige color. I thought they would’ve been closer to an ivory. As you can see, I have a lot of white in my room so that is why I was hoping for shades closer to white. However, the linen color goes well and adds a soft touch to the lamp at night when it’s on. At some point I plan on painting the walls and upgrading my bedroom furniture, so I think once that’s done, it’ll really stand out. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product! ... show more

I was surprised that the lamp required assembly. I was grateful to find a sentence in the instructions directing me to the listing for a video of assembly instructions. I found this item to be easy to assemble. The lamp and dimmer work well. I’ve read a lot of reviews and a handful mention that the dimmer feature fails between three months and a year. I will follow-up in six months or so to let you know how our new lamps are working. I like the way the lamps look, the brightness of the bulb at 100%, and the small footprint on the nightstand.
