I have two young children and no playroom so I needed something with enough storage space for all their stuff. These have been great so far. I have a 2 & 4 y/o. My 4 y/o picked up on how to open the doors pretty easily but my 2 y/o needs help still, which I’m totally fine with. It took my husband & myself about 2 hours to build all 3. They all came boxed separately & without damage, and were fairly easy to but together. Each of them needed quite a bit of adjusting to get the doors 90% even. Like the title states they are not perfect but pretty great for the price point and ease of putting together.

I’m shocked at how nice this is! Both how it looks (fantastic) and how it feels (good quality, heavy weight wood). I took a chance with ordering this (I bought the 3 piece set in white alder) as I was afraid that like it would look and/or feel cheap. The usual list price is $710 and I got it on sale for only $585. I just couldn’t believe that furniture that cost so little could be anything other than, well, crap :) I thought it would be cheap, lightweight, pressed board with the back piece being cardboard like so much of the build-it-yourself furniture that comes in a box. And yet, I kept coming back to look at it. I really liked the design and when the sale hit, I thought I would take my chances - at $585 for a set of 3, how could I not? It also had a lot of positive reviews so between that and the sale, it tipped me into the yes column. I figured when it arrived if the pieced were thin and cheap, etc. we would just tape it back up and send them all back. That was not the case AT ALL! It looks and feels (very heavy) like real wood furniture. It has little feet to adjust for your floor being uneven which is helpful to make your doors and the seam where they meet match up perfectly. I love that they are push latches and there is no external hardware. It is very chic, in an “organic modern” style and I am super happy with it. I actually thought I needed all 3 pieces for the spot I bought it for but it turns out 2 pieces looks better there and I’m happy to have the 3rd piece to use somewhere else as is it a good size and can be used as a stand-alone piece in a variety of spots. I really can’t emphasize enough just how nice looking it is. Also I had hubby build it (without using the electric drill) and he is not particularly handy ;) and he had no issues at all. It came out flawless with the doors lined up just so and everything perfectly even. A lot of times with built it yourself furniture or even full assembled furniture at a price point like this, it’s so easy to tell that it’s “cheap” bc the doors don’t line up, things slant, there are chips on the corners, there are irregularities in the finish, etc. Not the case at all with this. If I didn’t know differently and saw and touched this in someone else’s home I would think it was from a quality furniture store and that it cost a couple/few grand. Excellent buy for the price, beautiful piece that will work with many styles of decor, large and heavy, highly recommended and I am now considering some of the other items from this same brand based on how impressed I am with these. If you’re on the fence (like I was for months) just order them - you’ll be happy you did! :)

Good value and appearance

I did a lot of research before this purchase. This cabinet was manufactured in Vietnam instead of China for a change. They went together fairly easily and look very nice. The door alignment is a little time consuming and even with persistence won't be perfect. The doors do align fairly well but the cabinet and doors are not perfectly square so it will be slightly off somewhere but is totally acceptable. You will need to decide where the mismatch occurs. I put two of these together and both were just a little less than square so it's not a one off issue or my incompetence. I would prefer to find a solid wood or even a partial solid wood product but the price is outrageous for real wood furniture. These are made of particle board. Use extreme caution when installing the door hinges on the sides. They seem to be more vulnerable to stripping out then the doors. The doors hold the fasteners very well and require some effort to install as opposed to the side pieces which offer little resistance when installing the fasteners. We like this cabinet enough that we might purchase a third. On another note. Don't believe the reviewers that stated they put it together in 20 minutes. It will take you most of that just to carefully unpack and lay out the pieces to prevent any damage.

Great quality, sleek and beautiful!

Overall nice item and price, I bought it on sale for $520 with tax. If it was regular price almost $700 I would not have bought it. Anyways, it is easy to put together, it took some time to get the door alignment to look seamless. I got it close enough for my liking. I would say they are standard weight for this type of product. I didn’t have any problems with pre drilled holes. I love the height, I am not a fan of the short “tv stands”. The door closure is ok, not the best but not the worst either. It is a true charcoal grey color. I did have one set that had a few blemishes but they’re hidden so no biggie. I am a satisfied customer, I wanted something to hide EVERYTHING basically all the clutter that I used to have out like books and board games etc. It is even wide enough to fit my printer! I recommend.

Elevated Look For Less.

Worth it! I bought these to use as a media console, and I’m really happy with how they turned out. The color is beautiful—cool toned overall, but it can look warmer depending on your lighting or if you have warm accents in your space. Assembly was straightforward. Each one took me about 45 minutes to put together, and there were spare parts included, which I appreciated but was confused that I missed a step at first. The quality feels very solid and heavy duty—it does not look cheap at all. The only minor drawback is that since there are three side by side, you can see a faint line where they meet. It doesn’t bother me, and honestly, no one else would probably notice. The doors are adjustable so you can get them lined up perfectly and the close easily. If you have infants that like to stand up on things, the height is perfect because it’s just slightly out of their reach however, the doors do open when you apply pressure to them so you might have to install door latches for child safety if you do not want them opening them. Since I’m using them for media storage, I drilled a hole in the back of the center piece for cords, which was easy to do. Overall, very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it whether you’re using it as a sideboard or as a media console like me. I really like arhous and restoration hardware furniture, and this to me feels like I got it for a fraction of the price I added a few different photos with different lighting so you could see the color based on time of day.

Love these consoles for my living room

I got the alder white consoles and ended up buying the 3 piece units. Definitely on the pricey side but I’m glad I purchased all of them. I have a 47” TV in my photos but hope to upgrade to a 65”. I love that I can still add side decor on the side of my TV. I wanted enough space on each side and the 3 piece allows to do that. The 2 piece console is limited to what you can add on the side of the tv. If you have a 65” or bigger, you will definitely have no space for decor on 2 consoles only. Also, the up side of having 3 units for me allows me to store my mom’s Costco hoarding. I love that I can shove her several packs of Costco water inside Haha. Plenty of storage and clutter to hide away. Super easy to assemble and probably took me 30 mins or less for each one. You will find yourself making new holes to lift the door up more to even out the top gaps on the doors. You’ll see what I mean. I had to adjust all the door by pushing it upwards to tighten the top space on the swing doors. Use a drill, it will save you time and your wrist.

Is it nice? Yes, it certainly has its appealing aspects. However, will I purchase it again? Absolutely not. The main issue lies with the door, which turned out to be an incredible source of frustration. It took me a staggering six hours just to align the door properly, and despite all that time and effort, I still couldn't get it to fit right. I genuinely wish the manufacturer would reconsider the design of the door. It's such a headache to deal with! While the console itself has a solid and attractive build, the door experience is a resounding "no" from me. Even with assistance, putting the doors together was a struggle. The entire assembly process for the console itself is fairly straightforward, usually taking no more than 20 minutes. However, the door installation felt like an endless battle, and even after all the adjustments, there remained an unsightly gap at the front, which really detracted from the overall look. In summary, despite the console being nice and sturdy, my experience with the door was overwhelmingly negative. Regrettably, I won't be buying this again.

This is the easiest piece of furniture that I’ve ever assembled. It looks great and has little feet to adjust how it sits on the floor so you can make everything line up perfectly. The magnetic closure is not really strong enough to be effective but it stays closed regardless so I’m not taking a star off for it. I’m so happy it’s exactly what I wanted.
