Love these gel pens. Great vibrant colors. Write very smooth. With the pen holder part was metal so they won’t break off so easily when put into rings of calendar. Do bleed slightly but that has been my experience with all gel pens. Just don’t close page too quickly or rub ink right away. But overall great pens. ... show more

These pens are good for the price. The ink is very good quality and the pens write smoothly. The color variety is outstanding. They are close to the inkjoy pens, except they are not quite as comfoerable to hold, and the pen she'll is a different quality.

    • They are very nice set, subtle differences in the different colors.
I wanted to use these in my adult coloring book instead of crayon pencils for something different. I do like fine points for writing, but these are finer than I expected for coloring. I'm sure I will use them, they are so pretty. Even if I use them for journaling it will be a nice change. I like colorful things! I also want to mention that you can see through the body, and that will let you know when your ink is running low. I like that, too. ... show more

I bought these pens for journaling. The hit: I really like the colors, the way in which they write, good variety. The miss: I have used them for a week and some pens just stopped working. Or will start writing nicely and then the ink fades almost as if they dried up. This is a pack of 20 and so far 4-5 have this issue. ... show more

    • Good quality gel pens
I'm rating these five stars because they work just fine as gel pens, like just as good as V-Ball pens. I can't say I've used all the colors, nor have I used them for a long time to be able to rate longevity, but I haven't experienced anything to make me think they won't last. This is just the personal reason I bought these, but if you happen to have one of these very old toys, you could probably use a set too. I'm talking about "Spirograph". I had the Super Spirograph when I was a kid, and I still have it. I got it out a couple of months ago to introduce my grandkids to it, and although they were mildly interested, they were disappointed that all I could offer in the way of colored pens was a red, black, and blue pen I had around. I knew there had to be a modern alternative to the old 4 colors of ball-points that came with the set in the 60's. I tried Crayola "Twist" colored pencils, but the lead is too thick, doesn't fit in the holes in the wheels. Then I thought of fine point Sharpie markers. Those should be good, they won't smear and come in a wide variety of colors. Opposite of the first idea, the points are too small and let the wheel wiggle and lose alignment. Then it occurred to me that with today's tech there had to be multi-color ball point or gel pens that would have the right size tips for using with the Spirograph. And here we are! The one complaint I have, and it's not really the pen's fault, but in using these with the Spirograph, the gel ink does set up slow and consequently will smear a bit at times as you track over lines you just did a moment ago as the wheel tracks around it's path making the patterns. Still a lot of fun and highly recommended. ... show more
