Do you use a lot of green, and always seem to run out of that color or not have enough shades? WHY I LOVE THIS SET! MATTE/SHEEN - It has matte and some with a bit of sparkle. I thought the sparkle, glitter would be too much, it's NOT! it's subtle and just adds a bit of POP, especially if I am usually mostly matte colors. QUANTITY of GEL PENS AND SHADES! - There are SO many shades of green! If I am working on a jungle scene, I can vary the greens a LOT because so many to choose from. REFILLS! - extra perk is it has REFILLS, so if I am using a lot of one shade, I have a back up refill. I HATE it when I am working with one shade and I realize I don't have a back up for that shade. These come with refills and you can buy more refills. SEEMS to have a lot of ink and it FLOWS beautifully! PRICE - was hard to find exactly what I wanted re just green and this is it. The fact the price is great is a bonus. BOTTOMLINE: Would DEFINITELY get this again, although I doubt I will need to as it not only comes with refills, but I can get more refills.

I love, love these pens. I use mostly brown colors and you can’t find them in almost all of the other pen sets or refills. Or if you do find them there are only 4 out of 180 with only 1 of each color. I use way more then that as I color mostly animals. I also love that these browns aren’t just the metallic colors or where you can’t tell for sure if they are truly brown or purple depending on the light. These are definitely brown colors, and great, smooth, long lasting especially as much as I use them. My only issue is that I can get the pen set with refills much faster then I can just the plain refills..maybe it’s where I live?? I hate wasting the money on the extra pens I don’t need so I have to be on top of ordering before I run out. A week to get just refills and 2 days to get the pen set. I will still always buy these. Customer for life.

This is my second set of Office Goods gel pens. This review is for the blue shades. The colors are nice and there are some shades that I do not have in any other gel pen set that I own. The ink is smooth. The glitter pens are sparkly. I like that the set comes with a color chart, though I made my own because the colors don't always match what is. on an included chart. I usually don't buy gel pen sets with refills because I find it a pain to switch them out and many sets don't mark the colors and I'm not taking the time to figure out which color ink goes in the pen I need refilled. I'd rather just buy a new set of pens. I do, however, like that the barrel of the ink on these pens is marked as well as the refill ink. The numbers on the ink barrels are somewhat hard to read and I would probably improve on that, though I am not sure how. It is helpful that they are marked. I may actually use these refills. So far I have used the pens twice. I think the ink will last a while. The pens are a decent value for the colors included and that they have refills, especially if that's something that you like.

I tested out both the green tones set and the earth tones set. The pens write fairly well, color chart shows both sets. It is hard to get a good picture of the glitter tones, but they are all indeed greenish or brownish, some are just so glittery that they read as silver in the picture. Strangely, the green tones set has numbered refills that match the numbered refills in the pens, but the earth tones set has no numbering at all. The cases are really crappy, the one case split open and the pens fell out just from the slight pressure of putting the pen back into the case. For me, this is not really an issue, I rarely keep gel pens in the case they come in, but mentioning this for those who do. If all you want are green and earth tones, then I guess this might be worth paying the higher cost to get only those colors. Honestly though, all of the colors can be found in any number of other sets that are only slightly more expensive and which have as many as 100 other colors to boot. I can't recommend these sets because of that. Just makes no sense to pay a lot for 24 colors when you can add another 5 to 10 bucks, get all of the 24 colors in one of these sets plus 100 more. I give three stars because the pens do actually write well, I take off two stars because I was expecting something in the quality or the colors to set them apart and that did not happen.
