These dreamy queen-size pillows from Yagamo measure 30 inches in width and a little over 18 inches in height with an almost 9 inch average thickness after letting it rise from the packaging and then sleeping on it for two nights. These are my first pillows with the shredded memory foam situation. From previous pillow talk friends, I learned that one may need to fluff up the filling inside regularly to maintain it’s puff. To me, the filling feels fresh, fluffy, and breathable. I did let the pillows sit for a full day and night to go from its compressed state to bed-ready puffy perfection. These soft pillows seem to be the exact prescribed thickness for my side sleeping ways and provide balanced support for all the contours of my neck, spine, shoulder, and arm. It’s supportive, just the right amount of firmness. I don’t want to jinx anything, but I am not waking up with any stiffness or pain. My mission in adulthood, well one of them anyway, seems to endlessly recapture and recreate the best “sleeps” in my life as most night’s sleeps these past years are much less than restorative. I have learned that replacing your bed pillows every 1 to 2 years really helps in this lifelong sleep quest. As does purchasing quality pillows with innovative features such as adjustable memory foam and cooling wicking bamboo fiber covers. The cooling fabric cover on these pillows seems to slightly permeate cooling temperatures through my silk and cotton pillowcases that I cover them with. I am happy with the value for the set of two quality pillows as well. In life, when you snooze … sometimes you actually win!

I will admit I was initially put off by the thought of sleeping on a million pieces of cut-up foam, but I was pleasantly surprised. The pillows come shrink-wrapped, so when you first open them, naturally, they are flat. The instructions say to shake pillows for 5-10 minutes to fluff them up to full size. I am more of an instant gratification girl, so this seemed excessive. Also, after the first minute, I was exhausted… good thing I had this pillow. I admit I didn’t shake for 5-10 minutes. But they did fluff up, as you can see in the photo. I also am big on texture and the way things feel to me. This pillow has a nice texture to the cover, and it is soft. As for cooling, I’m not sold on any pillow being cooling, and this didn’t really seem any different than a normal pillow. Back to texture...this is where I made a face. It felt lumpy. But squishy lumpy. It was a unique feeling because if I smashed it down, it sprang right back. I have spent the past 3 nights sleeping on the pillow, and I have to admit that I'm a little bit surprised. I have slept well the past 3 nights, and I was truly expecting to wake up with the pillow on the floor, having discarded it in the middle of the night. I am very, very particular about my pillow, like Goldilocks picky. I exclusively sleep on My Pillows, and the loft is just right. Not too soft and not too hard. When I woke up, I still had the pillow under my head, and the pillow was not hot, and it felt like it was sort of molded or had conformed to my head, but in a good way. I’m a side sleeper, and I slept well; my neck was not stiff, which has been a huge problem for me. I am willing to give 4 stars for now and will give this review an update in a few weeks when I have had a chance to sleep on it more! Check back for an update. Oh, I should say that as for fabric and construction, it is well-made, the stitching is good. It looks like it will hold up well. Update 9/8/25 I absolutely love these pillows. I never thought I would say that because by looking at them and the filling, I thought no way, but I’m telling you right now. These are surprisingly very, very comfortable. I have been sleeping on them every single night and I love them. I would totally buy them again. So don’t be put off by the appearance of the filling because it looks like the foam being cut up like that would be uncomfortable, but it is not it is very comfortable so I would say these are definitely more like a five out of five at this point love love love

When these pillows arrived, they were rolled up and were vacuum sealed. As soon as I removed the plastic wrapping, they immediately began to take shape and fluffed up nicely. The zipper at the end of the pillow allows for adjustments, according to different sleep patterns. The guide, which is included, gives suggestions as to how to make those adjustments. The pillow, as it is, is optimal for side sleepers. Some stuffing should be removed for back sleepers, and even more removed for stomach sleepers. It's nice to be able to tailor this pillow to an individual's needs. The pillow is nice and squishy, but not too much so. It is malleable but has substance to it. A unique feature of this memory foam pillow is that one side is made of a cooling material that is great to have in the summer months. It is actually cool to the touch. In the winter, just flip the pillow over and use the other side that has a soft non-cooling material. Types of pillows are such a personal preference, but I feel that this one is versatile enough to satisfy all types of sleepers, and is very comfortable.

I got these for my son and their girlfriend who live with us. They absolutely love them and said - 5 stars! So comfortable. I have used memory foam pillows in the past but have never used shredded memory foam. Memory foam pillows are hit and miss for me since they can be really dense and heavy and kind of flat. These came compressed and heavy rolled up and were easy to unroll. They expanded fully within a couple of minutes. I have had issues with memory foam smelling like chemicals in the past but these pillows had no noticeable chemical smell. I wasn’t sure how shredded memory foam would be - but it surpassed my expectations. I found the pillow was fluffier and softer than a solid memory foam pillow but it wasn’t lumpy. They compress as you sleep on them and hold the shape for a bit. But they provide enough resistance to support your head. They stay cool and don’t make your head hot - which is another issue we have had with memory foam. These are a great value for the money. I highly recommend.
