I had a problem with my order and went to give customer feedback via email. The response was quick and professional. Then, on a follow up email, they offered to mail me another unit that showed up on the second day. The second unit worked great. I appreciate how well the trimmer cuts. The vacuum is loud but it is awesome that it works so well that I don't have to clean up clippings at all!

I'll update this if the company responds, but I'm having the exact same issue as another reviewer. I've fully charged the shaver. I've tried both trimmer heads, clicked in place. Travel protection off. When I press the power button, the display counts up to 99, back down to 0, then shuts off with a flashing ! I've tried to clean it too. Are they shipping faulty batteries? This is a BRAND NEW trimmer that arrived today.

First, allow me to say that the Vacuum aspect of this trimmer is awesome. It catches that vast majority of the trimmings, which makes cleaning up the area a breeze. As others have cautioned, I wouldn't consider this a precision trimmer. Most trimmers have guards that essentially matches the form and angle of the blade. This trimmer comes with two guards that provide a flatter surface than the trimmer area/blade. And then you had a dial used to fine-tune the length of your trim. Here's a visual. Hold one of your hands flat in the air, with the palm facing down and fingers spread. This represents the guard. Now take your other hand and hold one finger at an angle that you expect a typical trimmer head to be at. This represents the trimmer head with no guard on. Now slide the finger from hand B between a couple of the spread fingers on hand A. Yeah, I know that's a complicated and silly way to describe it. But it really does represent what to expect with this trimmer. The guard is flat, and the trimmer's head/blade is not. The flat guard doesn't allow you to smoothly trim over the angles of your face. And you have to be extremely careful because you can easily cut closer than intended because part of the head/blade extends past the guard. I'd argue this guard is a design flaw. I keep a rather short, but thick, beard and I regularly have to go over my entire beard multiple times because the trimmer misses random hairs while cutting. Also, even at the closest setting, I'm unable to trim my beard to as short of a length as I typically do. I still have to use my old trimmer once or twice a week to maintain the short length I like and use the SHPAVVER every other day to simply prevent the beard from looking too shaggy. I like owning this as a tool that cuts down on my cleaning time. But it's become an additional trimmer that I keep as opposed to the replacement for my old one that I had hoped for. It charges the power quickly and seems to hold a charge well. It's also light weight for the size. I'm hoping they take feedback on the guards and make adjustments for any future models because they have a strong start towards making this an extremely useful device.
