    • So far out of parallel, this is unusable
When I get time, I'm sure I can grind these down to where the jaws are parallel, but as I got it, they're not only terribly off-center, but they won't even hold on to most stock because they only grip at the bottom, leaving the outer end free to move. No amount of tightening helps.

    • Don't depend on the warrant from Grizzly.
It worked really well, but a couple months after the purchase it broke after falling just a few inches on to the lathe bed. I contacted Grizzly for a replacement and all seemed well, but they sent an entirely different kind of chuck which I don't need or want. I attempted several times to contact Grizzly again thinking it was just a mistake. Two weeks has gone by and I have not heard from them again. Its a lousy way to honor a warranty. ... show more

I bought this to put on my Fox Benchtop lathe and it is a great companion. It comes with two arbors, and the smaller of the two fits the mini lathe. It is pretty true as far as these budget mini lathes go, so for the price and the utility I definitely recommend it!
