I scored this shoe rack on sale, not expecting much of it at its low price point. My selection was based on its size, the capacity of shoes it can hold, and how sturdy it is, since I live with my fiancé and brother in a small college house. The assembly was easy. It came together very straightforwardly, and while the pieces/parts are all very lightweight and take no tools to assemble, it’s still very sturdy. The “racks” are some sort of papery fabric material, which seems like it’ll hold up well as long as you’re not just abusing it. The quality of the finish on the legs/metal parts is good. These parts themselves are made of an extremely thin metal. It holds 3 pairs each of my boyfriend’s and brother’s shoes, who wear a 14 and an 11 in men’s. It holds about four pairs of my shoes, and I wear a women’s four. I would recommend this rack if you need it tucked away out of sight, yet still want it to not look too shabby. First off, this was only 10$, so my expectations were pretty low. I bought it as a temporary solution to the front door blockage due to shoes everywhere. Turns out we’ll be keeping it until it breaks, because it is awesome! Not only was it super cheap, but it was easy to put together and looks freaking great! It is way light, too, so a kid could easily move it around even with shoes on. I don’t know how something can be such a better quality item for such a low price, but color me pleasantly surprised. I truly expected some plastic pipes and see-through material to arrive, but the rods are actually metal, and the material that the shoes go on is some sort of plastic (which is a good thing for us because the cloth ones we’ve used in the past were not only useless crap that instantly tore, but they were impossible to clean or move), so I don’t have to worry about snowy wet shoes leaking all over the shoes beneath them. Major bonus that it comes with little plastic caps to cover the feet of the shoe rack (which I encourage you to put on BEFORE you apply pressure from the top while assembling), because I didn’t see them at first and thought the metal rods would scratch up the floor. I’m sure at some point we will get a new one, but there is no longer a rush on that since this one turned out perfect. I put some music on to assemble it, and I was finished by the third song. No tools required. Very convenient! Just remember that you get what you pay for, so keep expectations low when you make cheap purchases. I got lucky this time, but things that don’t cost much are usually not good quality, and that isn’t the manufacturer’s fault, it’s the buyer’s responsibility to pay the price for different levels of quality. Either way, this is perfect for what we needed. 10/10 recommend, especially for a quick or temporary solution. ... show more

Bought it to add a shoe rack in laundry room. Was intially skeptical, it's light weight, was surprised that shelf base is not solid. I really thought of returning it cause I was very sure it will break. It has been 3 months and it is still going. It's surprisingly stable and easy to use. Looks okay. Does store many shoes. I personally love it, it was quick and easy to build took about 10 minutes. its honestly pretty cute and portable and its sure easy to disassemble. no missing pieces even extras just incase and its actually pretty small but it worked great! the quality is nice its like a fabric! This shoe rack was helpful for organizing our shoe closet, and it worked well for the first few months. We didn’t expect too much given the affordable price, and it served its purpose initially. It holds a decent number of shoes and was easy to assemble, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the rack did end up breaking about 4 to 5 months after we purchased it. While it’s a budget-friendly option, it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for something long-lasting or for heavier use.     • Rack is Functional But Assembly is Frustrating!!!
Decent shoe rack for the price. But assembly is frustrating. No tools required but LOTS of patience is required! There are MANY pieces/ parts and unclear printed directions. I had to redo several steps and it took me almost 2 hours. I got the XXL one and when completed I was able to put 12 pair of mens' shoes on it and able to slip 3 pair of slippers/flip flops on the floor beneath the bottom shelf. I put all my husbands' ball caps on the top shelf and it seems sturdy enough and presentable in the hallway by the garage door. Keep in mind it is not a fine piece of furniture being made of metal and canvas but is sturdy enough and is functional in an out of the way location.
