It is probably too early to review this product since we bought it just about a couple of weeks ago. But my first impression does exceed my expectations. We've been researching this type of product for about a few months. We checked it out at Ikea, Walmart and other department stores including Wayfair and other online stores. We decided to get this one for the following reasons. 1. The area we have is narrow. This area is right next to the entrance door with very small space. So we needed a product that's thin. 2. The light switch and outlet are in the middle of the wall. We needed a product that's not too tall due to the switches and outlets on the wall being right in the middle of the hallway. 3. The area is close to the door and we wanted to avoid people getting hurt by the door knobs. Door knobs can be sharp or protrude too far from the door. Therefore, we wanted a product without the door knobs so that no one gets hurt while coming in or out of the house since the space is very small. 4. We have thick and tall baseboards. This product has a cut-out specifically for baseboards, which made it perfectly stand right next to the wall. 5. Limited space for shoes. Because our hallway area is small, we have very limited floor space to place shoes. Sometimes when we have many guests over, the hallway area gets filled with shoes quite fast and becomes a mess. This perfectly solved our problem. This product is very spacious. It fits many different size shoes especially adult. 6. Fair price. Our concern was the price as some of the similar types of products were way out of our budget. This one was on a lower end. Wish it was less expensive, but it's OK. 7. Easy assembly. I am used to put together furniture, therefore it was a walk in the park for me to assemble it. It probably took about an hour, not rushing, doing it carefully, not to break anything and to firmly attach pieces. 8. Materials It's obviously not made from solid wood. All materials aren't as firm. But at the end as a whole, when it's fully assembled, it looks and feels fairly sturdy. Again, this is just a preliminary review because it's only been a couple of weeks since we bought it and I assembled it. I will make sure to update my review with any changes to come. Hopefully, there won't be any. Good luck.

Purchased this awhile ago but we just got it put together and put up. SUPER easy assembly and this shelf is awesome! Tons of room for shoes, the hooks are great, and it seems really sturdy. Such a great way to store (and hide!) shoes and it doesn’t take up much room.

Over the moon with this shoe cabinet. I didn’t put it together, but my wife said it was pretty easy. Sturdiness is where it needs to be. I personally didn’t put the recommended wall mounts as we don’t have small children. It looks great and practical. Tip - sometimes it is easier to turn the shoe or boot upside down. This allows a wider variety of shoe sizes. The door closures works the way that they should. I purchased the 3 door cabinet. It fits great next to my closet and allows me to access to both. I’m impressed with the design.

This review is for BORNOON 3 drawer shoe cabinet. Well packaged, arrived in great shape, all the pieces were there. I was able to assemble the kit in a little over 2 hours by myself. Lucked out that everything aligned well and would give it 5 stars except one pre-drilled hole wasn't, and I had to pre-drill before screwing to keep laminate from cracking. Instructions were very clear and I followed another reviewer's suggestion that you don't use power tools to assemble the kit; not sure material could withstand that much pressure. In all, I really like the cabinet and because I have small feet, I got 30 pairs of shoes tucked away. Larger sizes and boots would pose a problem to getting as many pairs housed.

Very nice, neat, storage unit for my shoes. I’m able to easily fit 24 pairs of my ladies size 10 shoes in it. Wouldn’t work though for fitting all 18 pairs of my son’s mostly bulky size 12 sneakers. Although each of the four compartments can fit two rows of shoes, the bottom row more easily accommodates bulky shoe styles like sneakers. The top part, especially for men, would work better for slimmer shoe styles like Toms slip-ons, etc. For my son, this unit could comfortably accommodate 8 pairs of his bulky sneakers on the lower shelves and probably around twelve pairs of light weight shoes like Toms or sandals/slippers on the top shelves. The drawers are unable to close if the shoes on the top shelf are bulky. My sneakers which measure three inches high when measuring in a straight line from the bottom to the top of the heel fit nicely on the top shelf with the drawer closing easily, however, my son’s sneakers which measure 3.5 inches fit when drawer is open, however, the drawer is unable to fully close. This pertains to the top shelf only, so half of an inch in shoe height makes a difference in getting the drawers to close properly. You can also maximise space by stacking each pair of lightweight shoes on each other, i.e. sole-to-sole. This also helps prevent them from shifting around on the inside when opening and closing the drawers which can look untidy. I am very pleased with this storage unit. I’ve been able to free up space in my tiny closet my transferring my shoes from it to this attractive unit that fits nicely against a wall in my bedroom.
