I bought and installed these cameras over the summer so I am finally reviewing them after some usage. I think these are great indoor and outdoor cameras. They were a 2-pack so 2 cameras are in one order. They were very easy to install, it took me about 10 minutes per camera. These operate on wifi and will need a power outlet for power. These are labeled as SHO cameras, but they are really Zmodo cameras. It uses a SHO App, but the app is identical to Zmodo App and the login is the same. So if you have Zmodo App already, the install is even faster. Since it uses the Zmodo App, any cameras you have already installed will show up as well in this App. Like other Zmodo cameras, they will provide free clips of activity on the camera (motion sensor triggered) for about 24 hours or you can subscribe to cloud storage ($50 or $100 per year) for continuous recording. You can set up to get alerts whenever the camera is triggered. I have these cameras facing the outdoor front door and the camera quality is great. So far the cameras have held up to being outside but I note that my cameras are somewhat protected by the house eaves. The build quality looks good so they should last a while.     • This is NOT a Zmodo replacement - beware
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Afrer a use of approx 1.5 month one of my two purchase a "Zmodo replacement" aka ex-Zmodo cameras failed into intermittent to constant disconnect mode. Zmodo app says that there is no camera found on attempt to "add", and the light is green constant. Thus camera is physically connected but Zmodo app doe not know that, and there is no way to reset either hard ways or from programmin Zmodo app. Beware this is not a full equivalent of old good Zmodo black outdoor one, and reset is impossible by any means i know ( i consider knowing more than average user). Update as of 7/27/2025. Second camera failed for no reason after 5 months of use ... show more

These were the only cameras being sold that still work with my old Zmodo NVR. They work fine during the day but there's a weird uneven IR pattern at night and a "tunnel vision" phenomenon where only the central field of view is properly illuminated and clear, but the peripheries are unclear and poorly lit. They appear identical to Zmodo branded cameras I have from 2019 or 2020 but don't work nearly as well at night. The picture shows a low light situation, in darkness the effect is worse. ... show more

I had an issue receiving my item (actually, twice) and the seller was very helpful and accommodating to fix the issue. So, the seller gets an A+++ for assisting with my issue and standing by their product. I ordered these cameras as Zmodo informed me they'd work with my DVR - and, they do! Purchased to replace old Zmodo cameras from 7 or so years ago. The app mentioned in the enclosed pamphlet did not work for me but I was able to add the cameras to my Zmodo app with no problem. Installation was fairly simple but I found the bracket that attached to the camera and the wall piece to be very weak - my first one was cracked and someone else had one crack while trying to tighten it to the wall piece. So, just be careful when tightening. Very pleased and will likely be ordering more cameras. ... show more

These cameras are so much better then the old white ones the quality is a 10/10 it’s much more clearer and I can see more and my set up is finally complete gonna get two more to upgrade my other ones highly recommend
