I put them on my mare and they were definitely too big on her, but it worked out perfect because I wanted an extra set of hind boots so I just threw them in the back and they fit perfect!. These run larger than the name implies. My mare is 17’1” and yet she wears cob sized on her front legs and full size on her hind. I had bought four full sized and luckily someone else at the barn was happy to buy my extra pair of full size.

I got these boots for my 16.2 OTTB gelding. They definitely do run large- they were on the verge of being too tall for him, and he has pretty long legs. But the Velcro is strong, they are super padded (but not too bulky), and they seem like they wick moisture really well. Definitely recommend! :)

They seem pretty well-made for the price. I haven't put them through heavy use as I bought them as a gift. The teal color is darker than in the photo. They also seem to run a bit large: the "pony" size is a hair big for my 14.1-hand Arabian (but I think the "small pony" would be too small).
