Love these! My horse gets much needed leg relief with these. He's picking up and stomping much less than he does without them. He is still kicking at flies on his belly but these are for legs and I figure the flies are just going for whatever they can bite when the lower legs aren't available. They hold up in all weather and are breathable, easy to clean and with the velcro, you can fit them comfortably (the velcro really adhears well, they don't come off easily).     • Excellent choice to protect legs from flies & bugs.
These fit my mare perfectly. She is 14.1 in height. The velcro is strong, so they stay on and protect her legs from all the summer bugs. I would buy again if needed.

    • Fantastic fly boots!
I love these boots! They get a little bent up when my horses are out on pasture, but they definitely do the job and fit well. The Velcro is super strong, so they don’t come off during playtime. If I owned a barn I’d buy these for every single horse. Totally worth it.

My horse has classic OTTB feet, so he goes through hoof and shoes like candy during fly season. These boots help stop the stomping so he can actually make it to his 5-week reset. Even better: I can easily get a full season out of a pair of ShooFly boots. They stay on and don’t fall down. This is my second set and I still have two from my first that are in useable condition. Trust me, I tried all the cheap knockoffs and it’s worth it to splurge for the real deal. The couple of times my guy did manage to lose a boot (if it’s been raining and the mud gets in the Velcro) they were easy to find thanks to the bright color. ... show more

Did not think my horse would like anything around her legs, but these are so light weight that she hardly noticed. Kept flies away from her ankles and made her a happy girl.

    • Great boots, but watch for plastic
These are awesome boots! They have lasted me the longest out of all the fly boots I have tried. I have had them for 4 or 5 months now. The boots have plastic that runs through them to keep them up right. This plastic has worn through the fleece lining and gave my horse a sore. All in all, I will definitely buy these again just watch for the plastic. My horse is also very destructive with her fly boots so it's a miracle they have lasted this long. I'm very happy with them and will be buying another pair. ... show more
