This is my 4th rear 712Shinko. I ride 100 miles daily on Harley Sportster 500lbs+. Paired with front 712 does well light on/off road (I live on an unpaved road and have to cross a creek to exit my home) I push my machine hard and tires always stay planted. Not good as a rear tire. Specs do not clearly state front or rear. I bought 2 tires less than a year ago. My front tire is still perfect, however the rear is very worn and has threads showing. Will not be buying this tire as a rear tire again.
