How often should one replace a motorcycle tire if it does not show signs of wear? I replaced the front tire on my Suzuki SV650 last year. The front tire showed signs of wear and it felt funny in the corners. I had heard good things about Shinko tires, and decided to try one. The handling improved. The rear tire did not show signs of wear, and the handling was okay. But, when I checked the maintenance records, I found that I had installed the rear tire in 2011, almost 13 years prior. Most would say you should not go longer than 5 years. Some would say even less on a motorcycle. I have not a hard cornering ride yet, but the feel of the new tire is good, and matches the front tire, being the same brand. They feel like they go together. I’m a beginning rider, mostly straight lines. But this tire seems to handle the same and is holding up ALOT better in terms of mileage than the expensive fancy tire I started with. If you are not racing on curves and are looking for mileage and price, get it!

This tire arrived quickly, although there could have been more info provided about; when shipped, tracking info, expectected arrival..... you know, the usual info you get when ordering from Amazon. I have not yet mounted this tire, but I have purchased many Shinko tires in the past & have always been satisfied with quality, handling, & wear even on the bias ply tires. I don't expect to be disappointed with this radial. ... show more

The same tire on my bike has 9000 miles and still has a few more to go. This store has FRESH tires and ships faster than most. Thel price was 20% less than local sources. What more could you ask.
