This company's product saved my frying behind! Living in Florida, my A/C went down during the heat advisory of June 2025. I had one of these 8000 BTU units in my garage for a year using it when I had a project and the heat inside was sweltering. After my A/C died, I moved this unit to my bedroom and purchased a 10,000 btu unit for my living room for a one day delivery. Works great so far, it just act like it don't want to blow cold air sometimes. After like 5 mins it starts back getting cold. sometimes it cut off if the ac on to long, if that happens I put it in dry mode and that'll keep it on low cold without turning off. So it's a ok ac unit, it's better than all my window ac units that was leaking water back into my house, because of how my window is made. Just keep a eye on the water level so it want leak I put a huge tank behind mind in empty it every week or 2 ... show more

The unit failed after 3 months of operation. While the unit is actually beautiful to look it, it's heart and soul is the compressor which stopped operating after 3 months. This supposedly is the expiration of its warranty. Secondly it was a not very effective cooling unit unless you are trying to cool a closet. I cannot recommend this item. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Good: System window insert goes in easily and seals well in the window grooves. Bad: 1) Very loud. The cooling mechanism can be heard coming on and off. The air flow is very loud. Quite/sleep is not a real thing because it just wants you to run it on low. 2) The system sends out cool air okay but does not maintain temperature well. 3) The hose leaked hot air back into the room because it's not seated well into the window connection. Returned. Buyer beware- had to repack into box to send back. Bought Hisense with dual hose instead and is perfect. ... show more
