When you purchase a reel like this you expect it to last a long time unfortunately mine only lasted less than 10 trips. Fantastic reel. Like all of my Shimano purchases, it reeks with quality. I would not use it for tuna over 50 pounds due to the drag system not being suited to huge fighting fish, however the free spool and casting ability is very, very good.
