You know the drill. You buy one of these things when you're back is sore thinking it's going to solve all your problems. For a week or two, you're in love. Then your back feels a bit better and you put it away. The next time you feel sore, you realize what a PITA it is to dig this thing out, hook it up, and then of course put it away when you're done. Before you know it, you're waiting until your back is ready to give out before you try it again. It also seems like each time you use it, you're less and less impressed by it. The balls that rotate are kind of hard and uncomfortable, and if you're a tall person like me, you find yourself continually readjusting to get the thing to hit the right spots. I'd like to say I'll never buy another one again, but this is the second one of these stupid things I've bought in my life, and I'm sure years later when I have long since given this one away to Goodwill or an unsuspecting friend, I'll look at one again on Prime day or something, and like Lewis Black with candy corn, I'll say to myself "Ohhh, one of those put on the chair massagers. That looks nice". Who knows, maybe a much more expensive model would be better, but this one will eventually sit in the back of your closet. ... show more

It seems to be well made and shiatsu function works well. I have a massage chair at home and would like to have one in my car. When I typed "shiatsu seat for car" on Amazon, this came up on the screen. It should fit on a couch or large chair, but it won't fit on the driver's seat because it's too thick (2 inches). I hope manufacturers/designers will improve this for car users. ... show more

I am under 5' and slim and I purchased this item because I have some back problems. While this is a great device and I will be keeping it there are some issues because of my size. I have to sit a little strangely in order for the device to hit correctly. Like it doesn't hit my lower back when I sit normally. This could also be because it is not made for the kind of chair I use it in. My chair is shorter than the device and so the top pad hangs of and the bottom pad hangs off which means I often have to push the device up and reset it before use. Only the bottom strap on it can hook around the chair and I may take it to my work office to see if it is better there. What I have been doing lately when the pain gets really bad is I put the entire thing on the ground and lie on top of it. This gives a really nice deep pressure massage and I can get into like plow pose and stuff on it to get even deeper. Plus it hits my entire back and my neck too then. The neck massager isn't painful like some other chairs I have used but I def get the sense it just could be better if I were even like 2" taller... I got this on discount and it was def worth the value. Right now it's 150 I think which is like 50$ more so I don't know if I would keep it at that price. Maybe ... show more

I have had over many years, knots and extreme soreness/stiffness in my back, shoulders and neck muscle areas. At times, only chiropractors offered any kind of real relief. Oftentimes it took many sessions at great cost to achieve plus the inconvenience of getting to their office. Pros. Well this thing works good - it starts off not feeling that deep - I mean it feels Great !! Then I over do it and feel sore the next day. It’s a Good sore !! 5 stars for the feel and deep ness !! Cons. Massage balls do not go all the way up enough - also they do not go all the way down enough. The neck part - I give this a 2 star - I almost returned it for this reason - it does Not fit anyone in my family - we are all of normal average heights. It says (and is) adjustable. That’s why I felt confident to try this one. However it still does not feel right on the neck area. I will use it for the back only. I’ll still need to find something for neck shoulders And to travel with. My niece has the best choice product one and hers “ Fits” the neck area so much better. ... show more
