Unable to use on neck area because the massaging balls were too hard that caused it to hurt instead of helping. The battery doesn't stay charged for too long.

I'm quite impressed with this unit. The massage feels is not too intense but digs in just right on the neck and back quite well. Unfortunately for me, since it is portable and lasts 7 to 8 15 minute sessions, this one was confiscated/stolen from me as she says it wasn't intended for me but her. So, I bought another one and am typing this review with this running. The shape of it works so well with chairs or just sitting behind you while sitting in a couch, chair, etc. The heat level is quite good but if you're wearing a sweater, don't expect much as it doesn't get as hot as a heated car seat would. Love the overall design and build but the price alone almost forced me to just buy another vs fight for what was mine lol.

I have back problems and neck problems, so I first tried this out on my neck. The hard rotating balls on it did message deeply. They don't have any give to them, so they press as much as you press on them. As far as comfort, I wasn't really able to fully lay back on it and relax to true comfort because they do dig into the neck pretty hard when you just lay back on it. For my back I used it between my chair and my back and I was able to control the pressure on how much I leaned back. This does feel nice right in the sciatic nerve area. During the rotation with the inner marble balls they get right to the edge of each side of the spine and if you get it just right on your lower back you can massage those sciatic nerves nicely. I was also using it near my L5-S1 joints of my spine. That felt pretty good too. As stated before it's all a matter of how much you lean back into it. They are marble solid so they will dig in deep. In between my shoulder blades felt pretty nice too as long as I didn't lean back too much. The heat on it is warming, but not too hot at all. With the power button you change the rotation of the turning balls or marbles, and the other button you can change the speed of rotation at three different speeds. I can handle it for about ten minutes at most. I wish the marble type balls in there were more of a rubber type so I can feel a little flexibility in the massage, but otherwise it does just as advertised.
