I love Shea products. I have 2c to 3a natural hair. It’s wavy and fine yet coarse. I wear it in twists. It looks great the day after washing but gradually shrink through the week. I wanted a way to stretch them out so I don’t have to wash my hair just to fluff out the twists. The pudding is thick and not greasy! It holds twists and keeps them stretched day after day.     • Works well to help tame tight curls
A favorite for use in very tight curls. We apply to wet hair that's already had some leave-in conditioner applied for ease of brushing. The curl stretch pudding helps to keep the curls from getting frizzy, and allows them to stretch out a bit more. Once dry, curls will tighten back up a bit, but leaves the overall curly look very nice, not frizzy. ... show more

This product is phenomenal for certain hair types. Personally I did not have the success (tried it twice in my hair - African American) I was looking for so my friend tried it out and BANG - BANG her hair looks and feels fabulous!! She is Mexican and has long natural curls that most people pay hundreds for at a beauty parlor.     • Works okay, doesn't have the most pleasant smell
It didn't do too well at preventing shrinkage for me and I don't enjoy the smell. probably won't order again but also will continue to use because it doesn't leave a greasy film on my hair and helps to define and moisturize my curls. The reason I won't order again is because I have tried other products that do the same and smell nice while yielding the same amount of shrinkage prevention. ... show more

I love this curl cream. It makes my curls (3c) look amazing and keeps them super soft. It’s not greasy or drying. Smells great too! It has been so hard to find consistently in stores around my area. This product moisturizers very well, and helps in detangling and stretching out curls. Glad I discovered it. It’s really great for kinky 4c hair, High porosity.
