It does a 👍 job of shaving ice quickly. It's extremely heavy duty and weighs quite a bit. I believe it will last a long time. However, I'm deducting 1 star cause it's so noisy. I know it's professional grade, but it's really loud. Eady to use for adults, wouldn't trust young kids using it alone to make snow cones. Finally, I feel it's a good value for the price. This shaves ice really well. I am only giving it 3 stars because the description said ice would not spill out. It comes out the top a lot. Also, the bowl does not sit well. The ice pushes it away leaving a lot of it on the counter. Yes, I can hold the bowl, but not while trying to keep the ice from splashing out the top. I only have 2 hands.
