I've been taking country life DLPA for three years on a recommendation of a naturopathic practitioner. These were recommended to me for chronic achey arthritic pain. The kind where if you sit awhile standing up is a study in unfolding, gently. These work very well in allaying that pain, and allow me to to the yoga stretches without the next day discomfort. Works really well to help relax you in combination with other Brain chemical building amino acids and a diet high in protein and low in sugar. It is a key factor in improving my anxiety, depression and ADHD more than any of the several medications I have taken over the last 10 years. I think this dose is too strong for me as it has turned me into a very unpleasant person to be around with! It has also made me jittery and has raised my blood pressure considerably.

I did not plan very well and ran out of my Country Life DLPA. I purchased a different brand from a local health food store and I could definitely tell a difference...not a good one. I take DLPA first thing in the morning and it literally helps me get out of bed, get focused and get the day going with a positive attitude. I returned the other brand and am sticking to what works. Country Life. I am in the health and supplements industry. I recommend this product to my customers. At the very least, do not buy a DLPA in tablet form. Get capsules like these. ... show more
