This curved carving hook knife is really sharp, and it does a nice job for precision carving into wood by hand. The handle is comfortable to grip, and the wood ensures that it's not slippery, even when applying a lot of pressure to the piece of wood that I'm carving. The size is just right for carving a spoon shape, and also when carving out the interior of a piece of wood for a bowl. It's a really handy tool, and I love the curved shape. I didn't even know that there was such a thing, and this cool, curved knife is making my project much easier, and it looks smooth and professional. At the time of this review, the price is $74.00. When considering the sharpness of the blade, the comfort of the handle, and the custom feel of the curved blade, this seems like a fair price. It's the type of tool that I only need one of, and given the craftsmanship of it, it will last as long as I sharpen the blade regularly when I'm using it. ... show more
