This is my first Apple Watch ever. I always wanted one, but could never justify the prices. I bought this one "used - but like new" for half the price they go for and couldn't be happier. I also purchased a snap on screen protector for it just because I AM very clumsy and didn't want to ruin the face. It has everything I could ever want on it. I love that I can see my messages, I can have it text people, set timers, I can browse the web, track my fitness, etc... I know I sound like a little old lady, but this is SUCH a huge upgrade compared to the basic watch I had before this, so of course my mind is a bit blown - lol. I was honestly so unaware that you could do or see all of that on a watch. The battery life is pretty good, I think I can go a day or two without charging it even with wearing it nonstop. I love the way the apps look, too. I did change out the band almost immediately to a magnetic one- mainly because I don't wear the color it came with. I think the size of the face is really decent for it being what it is, too. This has been my favorite purchase of the year so far.

I love my watch! I got it to track my heart, exercise, and sleep data. The heart function is really why I got this watch and it alerts you when you have any heart issues whether you have afib, tachycardia or bradycardia and can be a life saver. This feature alone makes buying the watch a must. It also tracks your heart beat and will give you data by the minute each day if you so choose. In addition, if you have heart arrhythmias, you can show the ECG/EKG data to the doctor to prove you are having issues. Many times when you visit the doctor or the ER, you are not having the issues, or they go away, so they discharge you because they are not seeing it. Having the data on your watch makes all the difference as they can now see that you have issues. The exercise function truly does motivate you to exercise more often to meet your daily goals. It also sends encouraging messages once the goals are completed. The sleep function tells you how much time you spend in each phase of sleep. If you've decided to improve your lifestyle through healthy eating, drinking, and exercise, it is nice to see how your health data improves over time which is very motivating. There are so many other features with the Apple Watch that I haven't used yet, but for me, getting it just for the heart monitoring data is money well spent.

I owned and used an Apple Ultra 2 watch for a few months, but found it to be less functional than expected. (The many awesome features were outweighed by the watch's tendency to call 9-1-1 without permission, and it didn't work well as a golf GPS, which is one main reason why I got that model.) After selling the Ultra, I figured I just go without any Apple Watch, but I found myself missing some of the useful aspects. When Amazon had a sale of the new Series 9, I jumped at the deal (much to my Spousal Unit's sarcastic amusement, but she's a confirmed low-tech girl, who only started texting 2 years ago!), and I'm very happy I did. It's smaller, less intrusive, and doesn't alert emergency call centers without my permission. (That was very embarrassing, by the way, as I'm a retired law enforcement officer, and some of the dispatchers still remember me!) The golf GPS function works reasonably well, though I still use a regular Garmin Golf GPS watch while caddying. I also prefer the ease of setup and the available watch faces fit my preferences better. Battery life is substantially less than the Ultra 2's, but the trade-off is worth it. I'm keeping this one!

This is a great fitness watch; I purchased a different brand back in 2021 and it was clunky and bulky. I never used it and finally gave it away. This watch is sleek, a perfect size and was super easy to set up. The "but" comes in because you need iOS17 r above to pair with your phone. I tend to keep my phones as long as possible and as it turned out iOS 17 was not compatible with my phone. So, in addition to a new watch, I now have a new phone. I like having the activity tracker on my wrist since I often WFH. The phone also reminds me to get up and walk around every hour (if I haven't) I haven't tried all the functions yet but there a ton of YouTube videos if i get stuck on anything. Overall, I think this was a good price and will be very useful in tracking (and encouraging) my day-to-day fitness goals. I did order some new straps. The one that comes was a little itchy at first but seems better now. I think the metal straps will be nice for work when I'm meeting with clients.

I have owned an Apple Watch since they first came out and I wanted to upgrade my Series 6 to a new Series 9. I am so glad I did. The new features are amazing and I love the Starlight color as you can pair it with many different color watch bands. Having said that I have to state that the sports band that came with the watch is awful. The color is a beige that really doesn't match the watch and then they added orange to the links that attached to the watch and blue at the clasp! I now have a Black heavier link band which has a sporty look, a Starlight mesh band and a Champagne Gold mesh band which is slightly darker than the Starlight bezel but looks fantastic. I am really enjoying my new watch and am looking forward to adding new bands to my collection.

I rarely use it anymore but it works great, it’s helpful for monitoring my heart rate and doing workouts. It charges fast and lasts all day, but not long enough to use the sleep features. Honestly worth the money. Easy to use and see and I forget I have it on sometimes.
