It’s LOUD - I have sensitive hearing, I guess, because the thought went through my head…will this damage my hearing? Maybe all dryers of this type are like this, but it was too noisy for me. Great drying ability, but I didn’t try the attachments because I need to return it 🙁

Get this hairdryer! This is a game changer! I am a Mom and don’t do my hair except for special occasions. This has made me do my hair more often because it saves so much time and effort. I have thick hair and it’s completely 100% dry within 5 minutes. My hair is a bit puffy/frizzy (but I straighten it in 5 minutes or if I sleep on it then that goes away). So it now takes me only 10 minutes total to go from soaking wet dripping hair to completely done and styled! It used to take me 45 minutes to dry and style my hair. Hairstylist of 21 years approved! Literally the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly lightweight even without the nozzle. The precision of the airflow is incredibly direct. Some people were saying that it was loud, but I do not think it’s loud at all.. at least not in comparison to other hair dryers used/owned, which is a lot considering the profession I’m in. I didn’t think I would use the other attachments that came with it but oh my God- they are now going to be an essential! I have a long fine / medium hair and because of my job, I have to make sure my hair looks on point all the time. This was purchased as my personal hairdryer however, I would definitely recommend this as a salon, professional level tool. The only critique I have is the power button- it is on the lower part of the handle which is annoying because instead of being able to turn it on or off with the flick of my finger I have to use both my hands to turn it on or off. Pretty annoying. However, because of the outstanding performance in literally every other category, I would still give it a 10 out of 10. That’s how much I love it. Zero stars if that was an option. This is the most frustrating tool I have EVER worked with. I am a professional stylist of 15 years and I would love to ask whoever was behind the engineering of the “IQ” system if they have ever dried literally anything with a tool before. The dryer constantly resets the settings to lowest air and heat, even when I have no heat on and full air with the cool shot at the end of a service. It happens almost immediately upon turning on, even when the dryer is pointing towards an inanimate object like the floor after finishing a service. It adds at minimum 25% more time to any service and is embarrassing to use professionally as it appears I don’t know what I am doing or how to operate a ____ing blow dryer. I have ordered a replacement from a different manufacturer and as soon as it comes I am smashing this thing with a hammer and throwing it in the garbage where it belongs. Overpriced, unusable, and ironic to call this “IQ”. Avoid unless you want to ruin your day over and over every time you have to touch this piece of junk. ... show more
