This hair dryer is even better than I expected. I bought it after experiencing it as a client and I have been really happy with the purchase. There are so many useful features and accessories and the dryer works intuitively to set the heat and airspeed correctly for each attachment. It has auto shut off for safety and based on my stylist’s experience I expect it to last for a long time. I use almost all of the attachments every time I dry my hair but have not used the curl diffuser yet so I can’t comment on it. I am still exploring the heat protective options also. I can verify that it travels nicely as it folds conveniently into a small size and the pretty purple color is a bonus! So far I am very happy with this purchase and would absolutely recommend it. Hairstylist of 21 years approved! Literally the best hair dryer I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly lightweight even without the nozzle. The precision of the airflow is incredibly direct. Some people were saying that it was loud, but I do not think it’s loud at all.. at least not in comparison to other hair dryers used/owned, which is a lot considering the profession I’m in. I didn’t think I would use the other attachments that came with it but oh my God- they are now going to be an essential! I have a long fine / medium hair and because of my job, I have to make sure my hair looks on point all the time. This was purchased as my personal hairdryer however, I would definitely recommend this as a salon, professional level tool. The only critique I have is the power button- it is on the lower part of the handle which is annoying because instead of being able to turn it on or off with the flick of my finger I have to use both my hands to turn it on or off. Pretty annoying. However, because of the outstanding performance in literally every other category, I would still give it a 10 out of 10. That’s how much I love it. The quality of this specific model is great! It's not super heavy, it does get hot and I love how it comes with all the accessories. However, do keep in mind this is pretty loud.

Decided to spend more for a dryer and this was worth it. Quiet, lightweight, easy to use. All the accessories I wanted and big travel bag. Fits in my bathroom holder well and folds up easily. Several heat settings and doesn’t feel so hot to damage hair.

This professional performance hair dryer by Shark is an excellent dryer with truly amazing attachments, but I’m not sure the price is justified. I’ve never spent more than $50 on a hair dryer and I’ve never had much use for most dryers with attachments; however I have other Shark appliances and trust the Shark brand, so I decided to see what this speed dryer was all about. This Lilac Frost colored, mostly plastic dryer, is fairly lightweight and has sleek and foldable slim design which I like very much. The cord length is sufficient for most situations. The 1750 watts is pretty powerful and relatively quiet even on high speed. The dryer doesn’t overheat when using high-velocity airflow and high heat setting as some less pricy ones have done in my experience. I would guess this smart durable dryer will last longer than most. There are several attachments for power drying, de-frizzing and volumizing the hair. I particularly liked the diffuser which helped add some volume to my hair while managing to tame any frizz. I was equally impressed when I tried the FrizzFighter Finishing Tool, which works like a charm to remove the static-fly-away-hair I can get with the dry winter weather. (That alone might justify the price) I found the semi-round brush attachment to be slightly awkward to work with while trying to curl my longish hair, but that may be a matter of practice, since I’m used to working with the dryer and brush in opposite hands. There is a nice carrying bag included, and even some bonus hair clips to use while styling. Overall I found this Shark- Speed Style Pro Flex Professional Performance hair dryer system to be a quality product, with personalized styling options that actually work as advertised. I would give the dryer itself 5 stars but for the high price of $279.99 I can only give it 4 stars. ... show more
