This is my first air purifier purchase. I have four animals in my home and dust tends to gather rather quickly on surfaces. Since having this purifier for a few weeks, I have noticed a significant decrease in the amount of dust in the air and the animal smells have all but vanished. I can visibly see the air quality go down on the unit when I'm cooking and within the hour it returns back to 100 so I'd say it's doing its job! I keep it on auto mode, and when the air quality drops, the fan speed will increase, and it is slightly loud, but the better the air quality gets, the fan level decreases so the louder fan doesn't usually last long. ... show more

I love this air purifier, I have three dogs and they all like to migrate to my bedroom at night. When the purifier is turning on you can hear the fan kick on and run but its quiet enough that it doesnt bother you. I can tell the air cleanliness is much better and the comfort of me not having to grab tissue all the time from pet allergies has been a relief. Strong air purifier. Have had in use for several months now and I can really feel the difference it has created in air quality. Noise level is tolerable with it being low key on level 1 and 2. Level 3 and 4 get fairly loud and you will need to adjust tv volume when set to these speeds as the purifier can drown out other sounds in the room. I don't use the auto feature as it gets a little annoying at times when it kicks up and down speeds at the slightest change in air quality. I have found leaving it set to 2 keeps the air fresh and clean in the space I have it in and at that setting I barely notice it is on. ... show more
