This air purifier works really well and definitely does its job. It feels powerful and I noticed the air in my room felt fresher quickly after running it. The settings are easy to use and it seems like a high-quality machine. The only downside for me is that it’s a bit too powerful for the size of my room, even on lower settings. It would probably be perfect for a larger space, but in a smaller room it feels a little overkill. Overall, it’s a great purifier if you have a bigger area that needs strong air cleaning. Works well. At first it wouldn’t register air quality but I followed troubleshooting and vacuumed sensor then turned off and on and sprayed perfume behind it. It worked after just a while. Apparently this is a common problem in the beginning. Works great now, especially with cooking smells!

This thing is great! I got this for my dog that has nasal cancer. He had radiation last year and it made his nose extremely sensitive to everything and gets nosebleeds. I had the air purifier up in my bedroom the one night and my mom was downstairs cooking french toast in a frying pan sprayed with cooking spray. Within 5 minutes the air purifier kicked on and the clean air percent started to decrease. I didn't think much of it. I came back into the room 15 minutes later and it was running on high with 65% clean air. It ran for 10 minutes and the % didn't change and stayed red. I couldn't figure out what was happening with it but decided to bring it downstairs to the kitchen. It's probably an hour now since my mom was cooking and the air purifier said 45% clean air when I brought it in. It took almost 2 hours on high to get the air in the kitchen to 85%. I was flipping through the particle screens when I first turned it on and there were HUNDREDS of all the different sized particles. I've always smelled something when things are frying but had no idea it was putting that much stuff into the air. I was shocked that the purifier was upstairs and was able to pick stuff up from the kitchen. When I first got it I didn't think it really did anything cause it was always on 95-100% but now I know it actually works! ... show more

We have a lot of Shark / Ninja products that we are happy with. This one is very disappointing. I've had this running in sensor mode for about 3 months. The built in filter status still shows 81% remaining. There is a LOT of concentrated dust that has formed on the center of the top of the unit, where the clean air is supposed to be coming from. From the buildup, it's clear this "clean" air is carrying dust since it's not just on top, but distributed down the fins. The sensor is also a joke. The only things it senses (which starts it running) are vapors or strong cooking smells. Vacuuming around it doesn't even set it off, which kicks up a lot of fine dust that is visible in sun beams. So overall, the sensor doesn't detect dust, and the $80 filter doesn't even filter out all the dust. Avoid this product. ... show more
