Excellent air purifier! Bought this one a year ago and it's been working flawlessly, 24/7. The only time it is turned off is when we change out the filter. Now, it does make slight noise while it's doing it's job (like when we're cooking or we have guests over), but once the air is 100% clean, it shuts down to a barely audible whisper. I like that it has a digital gauge to tell you how clean the air is. As much as I love blackened Mahi Mahi, I don't want to smell it when I wake up in the morning. So, no food or dog smells is neato. I've never done it, but it almost feels like sleeping in an oxygen room. We now sleep so much better which I can honestly tell you, makes a huge difference not only in how our days start and go, but also how our bodies recover and heal during deep sleep. This air purifier works really well and definitely does its job. It feels powerful and I noticed the air in my room felt fresher quickly after running it. The settings are easy to use and it seems like a high-quality machine. The only downside for me is that it’s a bit too powerful for the size of my room, even on lower settings. It would probably be perfect for a larger space, but in a smaller room it feels a little overkill. Overall, it’s a great purifier if you have a bigger area that needs strong air cleaning. I am writing an unsolicited review (haven't been paid to do so and I rarely write reviews). This air purifier is legit. It's super quiet and removes air pollutants quickly. My wife and I put it in our bedroom after suffering from seasonal allergies and immediately noticed a difference every morning. Something as slight as knocking the dust off of curtains, the Shark recognizes the air quality (% value) and ramps up. Makes the room smell clean and definitely helps with morning stuffiness. Worth every penny. Haven't owned it long enough to perform maintenance but it appears simple. We also purchased a humidifier/vaporizer for our bedroom and it's a perfect combination to eliminate pollutants and negate the symptoms of dry air. ... show more
