I bought this to replace my backup Omron Sprague Rapaport, which has impressive sound and has never let me down. This one looks the same and isn't much cheaper but is only marginally better than the cheap nursing stethoscopes we keep around. I have kids and move from site to site - I need stethoscopes that can take a beating and survive living in a bag, but for a few dollars more you can have that and still get sound quality to rival a Littman. ... show more

I love this scope, it's my second replacement. They have a lifetime replacement policy- on everything but the tubing (the tubing is the only thing that gets worn out- after about 18 months, and at this price, who can blame it!) I can hear things much better through the sprague type dual tube scopes than I do at stethoscopes 4x the price, even some amplified scopes i've tried (for 100's of dollars) didn't seem to make much of a difference in sound quality- for the price. It's truly a work horse. It's go the standard assortment of gear, various sizes of bells and diaphragms, ear tips. The only reason it's not 5 stars is for the tube wearing out. ... show more
