I bought this for my wife for her birthday. She absolutely LOVES it. She used to be a professional hair dresser, and while she acknowledges that the dryer is not as powerful as one of the professional hair dryers she used to use, it is far more powerful than a typical consumer hair dryer. She's especially happy with the curl attachments as she has a handicap that affects her fine motor skills, and this lets her curl her hair easily. She has found that the attachments are all well built, and serve a variety of functions. She especially likes the diffuser attachment. Comparing this to the Dyson system, while the Dyson performs slightly better, it does not justify the cost of the Dyson. This may end up being a Christmas present for some family members this year.

I was really on the fence about investing this much money to dry and style my hair. My daughter asked for one for graduation and I bought it for her. She has very thick, wavy hair. Normally she was just air drying because it took forever for her hair to dry. This was a game changer. Her hair looks beautiful all the time and does not take nearly as long for her to style. I bought one for myself after seeing how good her hair looked. I love it. I dont feel like I am damaging my hair anymore with the dryer/curling iron routine. Worth every cent.

This makes the perfect blowout so easy! It is one of my best purchases! I have always used a round brush and blow dryer but this does a much better job at smoothing my hair. Love all the attachments.

It’s definitely expensive but I love it. It makes my wash days a lot easier when I don’t feel like fussing with my waves or frizz. It does what it needs to do, nothing more nothing less. You can probably find a cheaper version somewhere else but if you want it for the name than it’s good.

I have a Bob I’m growing out and fine hair. I used to use a L’ange. On the brush attachment there are tow long pointed burrs that are supposed to be a rest for the brush. But there is no way to remove or fold them down. Since my hair is short and fine I like to use the brush attachment to lift from the root to add volume. Those burrs become torcher devices. Also when using the Lange the first couple times, you lose some hair where the attachment meets the handle, but after a few uses it stops because the hair becomes a damn and fills that space. Well I haven reached that point in this. The shape of the ceramic brush actually pushes/funnels hair directly to that area causing a hair pulling frenzy. I feel for shorter, fine hair the there are it enough boar bristles to help grip. This was definitely designed for long voluptuous thick amazing hair. And definitely designed by a man who has never used anything like this. Why two gouging non removable thorns? And can we do something about the hair pulling crevice on these machines? The dry style option is nice. I have curly hair so I’ve always had to wet my hair before styling to do a blow out. So that option really works. But the amount of pain I have to go through for that is just not worth it. When my hair grows out I’m sure it will be a bit better but I still like to get volume at the roots so I may have to cut those “brush rests” torture devices off. Stay down here I’m gonna come. I ordered the Shark Glam Ceramic & Powerful Air Styling & Drying System in hopes to get more of a controlled style without the frizz and spend less time doing it. I must say I absolutely Love this product!! The drying feature is strong and powerful that it dries my hair quickly. The air straightener is magic as no other hair styling product I own has produced such quality salon results. My hair is silky and smooth with much less time and effort. Using it while my hair is wet is a major time saver and my hair comes out looking sleek and shinny without the frizz. Not only does the Shark Air Drying system prevent frizz, but it also keeps my hair looking and feeling healthy! I am thankful for the ingenuity that went into developing this product. The scalp shield adjusts the temperature automatically and protects my skin from extreme heat. Less heat exposure to my hair also results in a healthier look and feel while protecting new hair growth. I highly recommend this product as all that it offers from the comfort of my home is definitely well worth the price of the product. I can’t wait to try out the other attachments!

This styling system ended up impressing me quite a bit, especially since I already own the Shark FlexStyle and had that as a direct comparison. One of the biggest advantages is the ability to use it on both wet and dry hair. The FlexStyle mainly focuses on styling from damp hair, but this tool gives you separate options depending on whether your hair is wet or already dry. The dry mode allows for higher heat as well, which adds a bit more flexibility depending on how you want to style. It also comes with a really nice variety of attachments. The set includes curling wands, a straightener, diffuser, pick, and a blowout brush. All of them work well, and it really does feel like a full all-in-one styling system. The blowout brush is actually one of my favorite parts. Compared to the FlexStyle version, this one performs much better in my opinion. It moves through the hair smoothly and doesn’t pull or snag, which makes the blowout process much more comfortable. The straightener attachment was a bit surprising at first because even on dry mode it still uses airflow while straightening. Once you get used to it though, it works nicely. The curling wands are also very good. I’m really impressed with them, although I will say the FlexStyle might still curl just as well, if not slightly better. That could just come down to personal technique though. Another small plus is that the air filter is easy to clean, which helps keep the tool running well over time. I find everything really easy to use, easy to swap out attachments, easy to do my hair with, I just love it. I end up reaching for this tool constantly. Having multiple attachments and both wet and dry styling options makes it one of my favorite all-in-one hair tools to use. Expensive, yes, but is it worth it? 100% worth the money. No need for other hair tools with this bad boy.
