This item is easy to use and store, however, the 1st speed which is supposed to be the lowest speed is the same as the highest speed. You have to be careful to make sure the beaters are deep in the mix or it will splatter with the high speed it gives. I've learned to adjust to the way it works, so I'll keep it.

**edited 2023** If I could give Shardor 10 stars for customer service I would!! My mixer lasted to just under the warranty when one side suddenly struggled to keep the beater rotating. I emailed Shardor thinking they would tell me they could fix it for a fee or something because I warranties on appliances are never that good, but I was surprised when they simply asked me for a video of what was happening. Upon receiving the video they promptly responded and told me they would send out a new unit. I just received it in the mail.. This by far outweighs any negatives, which were very minimal to begin with. Thank you Shardor for standing behind your product!! I love ALMOST everything about this mixer. It has amazing power. It has a nice storage solution for the attachments. It looks very attractive. It can make whipped cream quicker than I've ever seen it made. BUT it NEEDS a true low speed. I saw the reviews that said it needed a low speed and since I was looking for something more powerful than I had, I decided it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but I was wrong. I've now had my mixer for 5 months and I often hestitate using this mixer because I don't want the added mess of cleaning up a flour film off my entire counter. If there was a low speed you could work the flour in slowly, but no matter how slow I try to add in the dry ingredients, this mixer makes a mess of me and my kitchen. It's really sad because I do absolutely love every other thing about it.

Someone needs to go back to electronics school. This could have been a near-ideal product, a highly compact and self-storing mixer for a single person to small family, taking up little room, and able to deal with any normal mixing task. Unfortunately, nothing has been done to limit the amount of power reaching the motor. On its lowest combination of settings, it is very, very fast, too fast for many mixing jobs, especially bread, brownies, cornbread, and similar thick stuff. If you turned it up from there, you would rapidly get to whipping speed around 1/4 or 1/3 of the way to max. Maxed out, this is a seriously dangerous thing, which would, for example, instantly rip the fingers off your hand, or at least strip the flesh off them, if you had an "oops". No one ever, in all of history, has needed a mixer that goes this fast. If the entire speed range of this was cut by 75% (i.e., the slowest speed was 75% slower than the current slowest speed, and the max speed was 75% slower than the current stupid-dangerous max speed), then this would be a five-star product. I'm giving it 3 stars, because the overall design is well-thought-out, and at or near its slowest speed it is capable of doing probably 2/3 or so of what you'd want to do with such a device. PS: Reviews of this and similar models also complain that the storage compartment does not securely attach to the body, which just rests loosely on top. They're correct that it would be nice if these snapped together securely. UPDATE: To Shardor's credit, they saw this review, offered a refund, and also said they're reviewing the product design to make it capable of slower speeds.

This product is incredibly loud from the lowest settings to the highest it is loud no matter what !! But strong got fluffy egg whites in a few minutes but too loud.

Very powerful, and I actually would like this to be a little less powerful to prevent splashes. Just took a while to get used to it. I’ve had this for a couple years now and it is held up well. Really love that it’s all contained and I don’t have to hunt for the attachments.

Likes: Uses very little storage space, and the snap box to hold accessories is sturdy and stays in place. Blenders: used to make cookie dough, was powerful and quickly mixed all ingredients together thoroughly. Included picture of final product, lemon crinkle cookies. The texture of the cookie was great, crisp edges and chewy center. Dough hook: kneaded one loaf of bread together easily. Should be able to do two loaf recipe effortlessly as well. The motor is powerful enough. Cinnamon raisin braid bread shaped up wonderfully, taste was fresh, moist, and flavorful. See final product in pictures. Ballon whisk: whisked up one egg and one tsp of water for egg wash on the braid bread. Whisked in a small bowl and did not lose any egg. See picture. Dislike: Motor slightly loud, but it did not bother me or disturb my family.
